Great story. I’m sorry for your loss. He sounded like a great guy/dad. I’m leaving my 944 to my son and I often think of how he’ll take care of it when I’m gone. Thx for sharing.

My grandfather recently passed away I helped him build the driveway for his Porsche 944 and we put a canopy over it to stay out of the sun we took it out every now and then now that my uncle moved into that house he took over the title even though my uncle is technically not his son and was not raised by him and my grandpa hated him my uncle is abusive to my grandmother instead of giving me my grandfather‘s car who raised me he wants to sell me something for free for $5000 and it doesn’t even run anymore I don’t know anything about cars other than how to drive and maintain but I would give anything to somebody who helped me get that car back so I could hold onto my grandfather’s Legacy I miss him so much
What sucks is if I were able to buy it I would still have to spend thousands to fix it I could easily get another Porsche for much cheaper and one that runs but that one’s his because it was his that’s why I want it❤😢

dude 944 really ugly...why don't you just convert it to RX7 with your retirement pay slip....at least it gonna look good and timeless...the main chassis is same but you need strip quarter panel, roof , front windshield fender hood and bonet...then you need to build 6 point roll cage before you can buy fiberglass RX7 chassis for drift or drag then install it, then install left and right RX7 door, put some effort more to roll carbon fiber on top of fiberglass or plexi glass RX7 funny cars chassis...100 times more worth...
