I personally would prefer Qatar, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Puerto Rico, etc. I'd so easily get bored in Hong Kong or Singapore...let alone Monaco. Too much money has taken the soul of these countries.

There are many other countries that the cost is low eg. 60-200$ a month for an apartment and easy to find job + friendly people... Cambodia for an example.

All are full of foreigners and the Indian population in these cities prefer to speak English as the main language there. Also your currency would make you feel much more wealthier compared to the Indian rupee

I am from Singapore and the irony is that people from my country are migrating to places like Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Singapore is not a bad place to live but it is extremely expensive. Forget about living in landed property over here. The majority of Singaporeans live in flats which are now really small. If I have to find similairty between your choices then-
1- Very small countries. Most of them are like city sized countries(Monaco,Singapore,UAE,Hong kong,Jamaica,Bahamas).
2- Highly developed Countries with lots of beaches and tropical climate.
3- Expensive. Fucking expensive. Motherfucking expensive countries.
I know I am broke. Dont make me realize that again and again.

  • @locationindependentexpatre7619

There are many factors to consider when thinking about which country to move to. Certain things are more important to some people than others, but generally speaking, you’d have to consider things like : Climate, environment/surroundings (i.e. mountains, beaches, river), population, urban environment/appearance, pace of life, transport, language, culture, food, banking and tax, crime, healthcare, and of course your budget.

Hi Alux.com Im quite suprised no mention of India was in this list...despite the country's misconception on media as being depicted as a rather undeveloped and poverty ridden country as absolute malarkey. Well at least places like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Goa or Chandigarh could have been mentioned. All these places, except Mumbai (due to rent being extremely expensive meaing you must be at least a multi-millionaire or highly educated to live comfortably there), are awesome and lavish places to live in while having reasonable living expenses. Most developed countrys' currencies compared to India are much much higher in value which will result in you getting more bang for your buck. Secondly the living costs are very cheap compared to half of the places mentioned in the video. Food is extremely cheap in India.... 50 rupees (or 0.74 USD) can buy you a very filling meal and could even feed another person! The availability of large malls, European car dealers, state of the art medical facilities, 5 star restaurants, designer brand stores, tailors etc. are also plentiful. Don't speak Hindi? Doesn't really matter because in places like these, the most commonly spoken language is actually English and yes there are many foreigners in these places also.
I hope you do read this and consider what I have stated. Thanks and have a great day

high level of rape, together with totally unacceptable (for westerns) caste system or lack of infrastructure makes it impossible. Whoever spent some time in India can confirm there is a lot of beauty, but also lots of trash in there...

I find it hypocritical that people are so concerned with a brutal gang rape in India (anyone from India here?) with little concern for violent gang rape in America. And, they even think America is safer for women than India. From Wikipedia:
      Rapes per 100,000 in India 1.7 (2006)
      Rapes per 100,000 in USA 31.5 (2006)
If a woman doesn't want to be raped, she's safer in India, many times over! So, how come so many people have gotten the idea that India is more dangerous for women? The media is ignoring rape in America, including violent gang rape, while reporting a violent gang rape in India? Why would the media ignore rape at home?

PRIYA SHAH it is a matter of view as well as respect to different culture. You know - "known vs. unknown" surroundings, law, so many real differences in every day life. Beauty to explore, tough to relocate with so many places that are more "comfortable" and available all over the world. Besides - while relocating one seeks kind of "better place" - for some it can be India for others mountains in Russia, for some South of France and for some some tropical paradise, whatever suits you ;)

A Kid In Africa i'm from india and i must tell you that india is actually very cheap as compared to other countries but not a good option considering other countries.job security? forget about it. indians have a tough time looking for a job unless you are from a rich family and get into anywhere with money. i hail from new delhi and would never ever suggest anybody to move into any of the places you mentioned above except for mumbai,it's a great place but the real estate problem would run after you like anything. food for rs50? well unless everyday you want to eat street food don't you? considering what you stated above, yes we do have a lot of malls and major brands that's a plus point but in india choose any city and it is NOT safe for women at all.NOT AT ALL.

I thought this channel was created for aspiring BILLIONAIRES. I scrolled through the comments and was surprised by all the negative comments. It is true, I have spent months in some of these places, and was surprised Indonesia was on the list for I found it extremely repressive but there is a reason why some wealthy relocate to Bali region and maybe a few others but that is not the point I wish to make.
It is true that not all aspiring Billionaires have a lot of money in their pocket today, but they most likely have Vision, Purpose, & Goals. I am guessing for I am new to this channel but I am assuming what they refer to as a TRUE ALUXER, is someone who has a "can do" mentality and thinks from a position of possibility verses impossibility. A true Aluxer does not start from a position of lack or scarcity, but instead from a position of abundance and possibility.
Doesn't Perspective, belief and thought play a huge role in creating our reality and if we think something is impossible, aren't we sunk before we get out the gate? I am not a Billionaire today. I have had pieces of the puzzle over the past 25 years or so but I did not learn how to put all the pieces together earlier. I was engaged in some of the 15 things poor people do and I have lived decades with a lack mentality.
It has only been 6 months or so that I have really begun to acknowledge that, but I FEEL the difference in my step, my countenance, and more. I am not successful every day beating back the voice of negativity, but it is a work in progress. I do not know what is true, in the realm of law of attraction, and all that other stuff about manifestation through thought, but what is clear to me, is EVERYTHING starts with an idea. If we just think about it, we are dreaming, but if we do take action, and move towards it, we get closer to something.
The more we focus on it, the more possibilities we see, the more connections we make, the more we become aware of things we were blind to before, because our attention or focus was elsewhere. If that is Law of Attraction, Positive Thinking, etc, then there is something to it. There is thought that gets formed into desire, action, etc. But do not quote me on that for I DO NOT KNOW. I am just a man doing the best I can to get focus, clear, and share with the world what I do best and then let the world reward me for my sharing, if I am wise enough to monetize it.
Here are two points I want to make. The people who created this video chose those places for a reason. I hear more people focused on what they believe is impractical or impossible verses respecting and delving deeper into why each of these places were chosen in spite of what some would consider barriers of entry (crimes, corruption racism, expenses, etc.).
Secondly, just because something seems like an impossibility at first glance does not make it so. I believe starting from a position of doubt, lack, impossibility is a mindset challenge. This distorts and constricts one's thinking and can mask talents and skills a person possesses or can obtain that are vital to achieving the desired outcome, which in this case is a possible New Start in one of these destinations.
In spite of all my preconceived ideas about each of the 10 places on this list. If I wanted to seriously entertain the suggestions from ALUX, instead of starting with all the sarcasm and negativity I would research each place. I would go offline and write ALUX and ask clarifying questions if need be. I would then make a decision, and start taking actions to make my decision a reality. I believe, that doors would open and close depending on my actions and decisions and in time I would achieve my goal, regardless of my current circumstance.
So instead of making suggestions like one person did in the comments, suggesting that they change the title to "10 countries where RICH people can start a new life," how about asking yourself why are you watching this video in the first place. Why do you want to make a new start? What are you willing to do to make this new start, and how hard are you willing to work for it? Would any of these places provide you with the resources and or environment to promote your reason for relocating? Find yourself the right questions for you and it will open a door for exploration.
Each of you spewing your negativity are missing the point and thus your opportunity to transform your life. Are you a student or a critic? Anyone can criticize but unless you are getting paid for it how is that going to assist you in your alleged aspiration of becoming a Billionaire? ALUX is here because they are in contact with people living the life we aspire to live and they are providing content to stimulate the mind. Are you cheating yourself if you close yourself off to possibility?
Wishing you each Peace, Love, and Tranquility.

Regarding Hong Kong, there are some benefits. For example, low tax rate and diversified culture and a lot of job opportunities, and good transport. However, keep in mind that flats may be small and the flat prices are high, and the air is sometimes quite polluting.

You may not like some strict cultures in Indonesia, but that's the challenge. As long as you don't criticize or make fun of anything related to religions, you'll be fine. As an Indonesian, I can tell you that the living cost is way cheaper than western countries and it's quite an emerging market if you're creative in selling something. The reason is that Indonesians are quite consumptive. The chance of being rich in Indonesia isn't that small since tax wasnae that high, but you need luck and creativity!
