You can use docking ports to launch your bullets really fast if you seperate them. You just have to make sure you put the kiloNewtons up really high and give your cannon good recoil suspension (it would might launch your cannon into the ground and your bullet would might burn up from atmospheric drag)
My condolances, Losing a family member is a pain I may not be able to relate to, And which I can only begin to imagine what it truly feels like. Even then I'd still like to say thag it's okay to miss him and think about him, But if the feelings ever get overwhelmed remember to keep your head above water And keep moving forward.
