I've only heard one song from the new album. it's very different, but still very good in my opinion. not the usual gojira for sure, but a good evolution nonetheless.
You should definitely check the whole thing, as one song doesn't at all reflect the whole record. Still some variation between their older death-metal'ish parts, and the new a bit more proggy style.

i dunno.....ive tried so hard to get into Gojira....but....they just kind of bore me...to death...i respect them, but the music does zero for my soul...to each their own!
