I can't imagine parking my truck for winter....that may be part of why I can't imagine living in the middle US. I need my truck specifically for winter. However, here they use Magnesium Chloride. It doesn't attack steel. You only have to be sure your electrical system is weatherproof.

Idea for a video: chance the lights behind your gauge cluster to LEDs. I personally haven't done it on my cat-eye duramax, but I've seen pictures and videos of people that have, and it really cleans the cluster up and makes it look better. It'd be something you could easily do right in your garage, plus I'd like to see a good "how to" video for it. follow me on Instagram to see my truck, @hare_chance

***** i dont even get why they put the stuff down.. they say “it helps with the deicing and snow removal” but it doesnt... it ruins roads and actually makes it slicker at night, sand is the best option
