Norfolk broads pike fishing part 1

This video is part 1 of our 2017 River bure adventure!! we had 3 days at it and started on the early on the Friday trying our luck for livebaits from the banks of the pub that we was staying called the kings head after catching a few we set off together then split when arrived at the desired spot just to cover as much water possible between us me being in the bic 245 and nisll had hired a 12ft sea strike.. the Friday was slow with 4 jacks being captured t

Hi lads I'm going on the northlk broads on the 24th of June would u recommend lure fishing for pike ?

The general rule is pike season is from Oct /March( but we’ve done it )
But I’d definitely recommend fishing light rods for lure and small live baits there’s some fantastic perch fishing to be had. And with the a fair strength line and trace you could be in with a chance of a decent pike also. Niall this November was fishing a tiny live bait intended for perch and flukes a 22lb Best of luck mate
