easily the best live show I saw this year, and there were a lot of them. "we are always in various transcendental states". this album is its own transcendental state. i'm so fucking happy to be around for music like this.

Like really man it’s like leaning on suckers like duckworth in the paint back in the day for the Portland trailblazers “ - it’s a lot of slang (I’m not sure if he’s saying suckers but if he is It has some special meaning locally I imagine ) Duckworth is an old musician and in the paint is probably slang. So as a native I’m not even sure what exactly he’s saying other than “we are relying on foundations laid by trailblazing musicians”
