No emulations plugin gets it 100% right, the real deal is so much better. Unfortunately it’s a lot of money, and at least those old units do need a bit of maintenance. I had an echoplex that was fantastic, but the space echo it’s the definite tape delay unit. Magical.
At least you get some level of stereo effect with Fulltone. Just straight mono on a timed based effect would be an instant deal breaker to me, especially at that price. The X2 could have sounded like sooo much more.

2700 USD. A Rolls Royce unit.
@@UROKRK I have one and I can make it self-oscillate all day long. Let me know if you need directions/setting suggestions.
Hell yeah. Wish I had one of those.
Mmmaaaaaannnnn!!!! That sounds sweet. 🤩🤩🤩
It's such a beautiful machine....
Can you still catch a feedback loop on a mixing desk (think dub reggae) if it doesn’t self oscillate?
It does self-oscillate.
They’re about $2,000
How would you compare this to the Fulltone TTE or SSTE?

Fulltone has a single record head. Different beast, and costs less because of that.
this is more expensive than the roland lol wtf
Of course it is - you should read our review to find out why....cheers!!
