That turned out great!!! I would love to see that in sunset colors so gold, orange, pinks, violets, etc.!
This sounds lovely!
I am blown away with this colourway! I hope David loves it too! Rebecca, again your talent has come forth and shown just how easy this can be with the right materials at hand! Thanks! I really enjoyed this one cause I am a fall colour kind a girl!
Thank you so much, Kathleen! I am trying to go for combos I don't use as often, and I'm so happy with how this one turned out.
Turned out beautiful!
Thank you!
I would love to see light teal and lavender
This sounds lovely!
Love the way it turned out. Some of my favorite colors too.
I would love to see blue, yellow and green. 🥰🧶🐑🐐🦙🐪🧶🥰
I don’t blame you for the mood. Most of us are facing moods.
This video was prefilmed... but yes. Wishing health and love
Lovely tones with injection. Whoooosh!
Thank you!
Here in Uruguay fall is starting, and these colors are so fallish 💕
That's so true! :D
Very pretty.
The color reminds me of Fall.
Very much! I'm more excited for Spring right now, but any color outside will make me happy. ;)
HAPPY ST
PATRICK'S DAY EVERYBODY!
You too!
My favorite color combo is bright juicy yellow orange, deep blue purple, and bright light yellow green (chartreuse)
❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Ooooo that sounds awesome!
As always very interesting and great insights to processing differences! 🙏
I will try this dye technique. Thanks.
You’re welcome 😊
I kept thinking as you unwound it that it would be fun to dye it first or use a pastel yellow as the base. It would be a way to keep some of the yellow since it always gets taken over by other colors. I wonder how a glue tip might change things?🤔
This would be a lot of fun!
I think the dye spread more with fawn & saffron because the outer edges of the ball are wound looser then the center of the ball
I think a small amount of green would have been a nice addition though!
Oh yes!
wow this is sooo beautiful
Thank you!
ChemKnits Tutorials I watched every yarn cake injection video that you have I think they’re my favorite 💓
Your yarn looks great! While I was watching, I was balling a skein of hand-dyed yarn and since I don't a yarn swift or a cake maker, I was walking around a pouf (great to get a few more steps in your day) and staring at the TV... at some point, it just popped off and got tangled. Oups. It wasn't so badly tangled, since I finished untangling before the end of the video.
Oh phew! As soon as I read the tangle... I'm so glad you were able to resolve it!
That's lovely!
I would love to see a video about dying yarn with catnip, especially using cotton yarn - I don't how practical that is but I noticed one of the white cotton toys I crocheted my cat, upon getting wet, turned brown due to the catnip inside releasing color. It washed out pretty easily and I'm going to see if it turns brown again while drying this time, but I'd love to see if a proper dye process would make it stick. I can't find anyone who's done this! Maybe catnip just isn't a good dye, but considering how stained the toy got from a light washing, I'm very curious. It would be an interesting first!
Of course the yarn might smell like catnip afterwards... but if it's going to be used for cat toys anyway, that's a plus!
I've never interacted with catnip before, but this is worth looking into for sure!
Would soaking the yarn first make a difference? Early snow on Autumn leaves....?
Have you ever used an Irrigation syringe❓
💜💙💚💛🧡❤
No, I haven't.
Why don't you use a needle on your surringe? That way you can go onto the cake and that's gives new possibilities. I do that.
I might have a couple blunt needle tips somewhere, but mostly I just have the plastic syringes. I was able to get the dye down towards the center pretty far, but a needle would make it easier.
Creme Brûlée!
Love it!
Rebecca, their does not need to be full coverage, having some of the white in this colour way!
I love the white in it! I had to use restraint.
Maybe next time you should flip it over an dye the bottom.
OOoo that could be fun, too!
@@ChemKnitsTutorialsyour welcome , I hope you can do it soon!
You're very funny!
Thanks! 😃
Its name should be "candy corn"
That does fit nicely!
I'd like to see this technique with straight solution, rather than diluted.
I'm 100% going to play with this a lot more! I did straight 1% stock solutions the first time (but the pot I used blocked more of the camera angles so I decided to try it again where I could better show off what I was doing.
