That was an incredible performance. It's great to hear this piece with strings instead of piano. In my opinion, this instrumentation sounds a million times better.
Amazing piece of music. So much energy and so beautifully performed. Well done.
Joy, you are rocking on harp, love it, all your friends are awesome as well!
Yes! And total strangers/fellow harpists are impressed as well! Brava!
A wonderful of this interesting composition. It bears repeating.
wow-fantastic. thank you
Thanks for this splendid upload! I'm a fan of several 20th century French composers (besides the "classic" Ravel and Roussel. Of course Poulenc (not D. Milhaud...), Jolivet, J. Françaix, etc. I didn't know this piece - and what an introduction! Wonderful performance... your beautiful playing was well complemented by the other musicians. Shared on Google+
Damn! Indiana students ROCK! Bravi tutti! Awesome performance!

Brilliant! I've go to play this twice over the next two months with two different flutists, and this was very helpful (and beautiful). Cheers!
Almost fascinating as sound is body movement, synchronicity of group, looks as if you guys are playing in fast forward, what a marvel, thank you universe for every transpiring elements that led me here to witness such perfection and wholesome energy
Hats off!!
Eerily amazing!! 🙃👽☻
Beautiful!!!
amazing!!
This is a key score of André Jolivet, in which his writing technique based on madality can easily be decoded. Jolivet delibertaely highlighted the flute, which brings the 'chant de Linos'. A version for piano and flute exists, but I think that it is a pity not to have the sonority of harp and strings. Note that many composers in the first half of the XXth century wrote for the same formation: flute, harp and string trio.
