    Currently using opentoonz on hearing it was used by studio ghibli , Ofcourse it's going to take awhile to get to that level.

      The fact that it is used by a studio doesn't mean that it is better than something else. You also say "it was used". So...

      Better is a relative term, but when you’ve seen what a tool is capable of, you know exactly what you’re aiming at. If you don’t achieve it you also know that the problem is not your tools.

    i've tried installing tahoma2d a few times on windows10 and just can't get it to work; the toolbar is missing a bunch of tools and the buttons for adding colors to a palette or adding a new level simply don't work; feels like the app is corrupted somehow; opentoonz on the other hand works fine

    Hello. Is Tahoma 2D suitable for creating 2D-animated Explainer Videos based on 2D vector imported images? Moreover, does it animate any object or item (i.e., stars; a rocket; a ball) present in a vector imported image? Thanks for your help with this query InspirationTuts 2D.

      @AStixMatism Před 24 dny

      Hi
      bit late but yes it can
      however if you wanna animate separate elements present in a single image, you will have to separate each element
      ESPECIALLY if you plan to do a bone rig

    I heard that opentoonz has more bugs than tahoma 2d. The only bug I came across in opentoonz is sometimes when I render an animation, some frames of the animation seem to disappear in the final result, tho they are clearly in my x-sheet.
    I heard that this bug apparently has no clear solutions?

      Its Layer Folder system is called a Sub Xsheet in OpenToonz and Sub Scene in Tahoma2D same thing just different names.

    at first I like tahoma 2d and for some reason I cannot undo anymore and after saving and reopening my file everything is gone, even though I didn't do anything because all i did is I made a mistake on my bucket tool, tried to undo but can't and ctrl S it and took a break. Tahoma2d just wasted my time.

    • @SadTown99
      @SadTown99 Před 9 měsíci +2

      I’ve seen a few ppl say Tahoma’s undo button stops working for them & even crashes after some time… Opentoonz is very cluttered at first but slowly becomes easier to use overtime

      @@arthritic It's a question. I don't want to use it for frame by frame. And you can use a wacom tablet with it? Does OpenToonz have something like winddynamics? And is it easy to use switchlayers for lipsyncing? Is there an alternative for smartlayers, so your rig vectors don't disform?
