2004, Mar. 27 - Provo, UT. Folk dance from the village of Méhkerék, Békés County, in south-east Hungary. Méhkerék has a population of 2500, comprised mainly of ethnic Romanians.

TRANSLATION: If you have ever seen the people in Mehkereki dance (especially in person), I don't think you would appreciate this, as this seems artificial, stiff, and has nothing to with the true and "enthusiastic" Mehkereki clapping dance.
While not criticizing the skill of the dancers, that choreography is a bit overdone. I was never a fan of choreographies that are over choreographed. But to each his own. I wonder where the performers are from?
