C-4 is activated by electricity, if batteries lose charge quicker in the cold, freezing it should in theory cause the power source to lose its charge before the circuit can be completed causing detonation.

I love this game. This is one of my favorites worlds/scenarios, next to Mass Effect and 40k, and I love how you all translated it to the table.

I don't know if y'all see these but I have a question, why is super mutant not a pickable race? They can be intelligent and if not they are AT LEAST sentient and could be good for intimidation if the group needs some!
Super Mutants were originally apart of the playable races. However I felt that their innate abilities led them to being far too powerful. In the games world and general sense, this is typically made up for by their lower intelligence or reputation. I didn't want to force players to have to be dumb or hated if they were going to play a Super Mutant, and they would also either be way too strong or too weak in comparison to their "statblock" counterparts or to even the source material. So, for now, they aren't a playable race. Maybe in the future I can find a good balance.
@@ArcaneArcade two years later but I've been working on my own thing and I concluded that playable super mutants would be west coast more intelligent mutants as opposed to brutally stupid east Coast ones, but the trade off would be a strength modifier with a charisma debuff
And on top of that they'd be unable to use pistols, one handed melee weapons, and can't efficiently snipe, but in later levels would be very potent with a bonus to heavy guns and melee weapons
But early on they'd just be locked to rifles, automatic guns, and low tier two handed weapons
Perhaps in the future you can make them hybrids, human supermutent. Hybrid@ArcaneArcade

i think its more that people watch these like tv so forget to like it, not that it isnt liked if that makes sense. Stream vods are always low like count

Dandy boy apples are cereal I'm pretty sure like Apple Jacks or something. At least that was always what I thought they were.
Edit I may have been mixing up sugar bombs and dandy boy apples in my head a little bit. I know sugar bombs are cereal but for some reason I think I was picturing the Dandy boy apples box as a similar box but up on further thought I think that was wrong.
I was internally screaming during the cross examination with Shelby. the 10000 IQ move was for Billy to lie about vault 0 claiming it was an old tale made by vault tec and that the overseer told him before he left.

The PDF rulebook doesn't state how many starting SPECIAL points each player gets....unless I completely overlooked it.
It's on page 13:
"SPECIAL is a representation of your character's abilities.
Every character has a 5 in each ability, and gains 3 points
to adjust your abilities up or down to a maximum of 10 and
a minimum of 1.
You can even subtract points from your base 5 to gain
more points to add into other abilities.
Each ability after adjusting your points gains a modifier
that affects your skills. Your modifiers for your abilities are
equal to the difference below or above 5.
For example: an 8 in agility grants a modifier of +3. While
a strength of 4 has a -1.
That maximum score you can have in an ability is 10, and
the minimum is 1."
