Exploring the Evolution of Nigerian Music Live

We went live for the first time to discuss the background of the history of Nigerian music through some of the notable genres. I was joined by enterprising Nigerian Afrobeats artist Gabriel Ashibi better known as Paparazzi and also as Breeze who gave an insight into past and current happenings in the music industry. The discussion is ongoing as we will continue to explore ways of documenting the rich musical heritage of Nigeria which has evolved into the wave-making Afrobeats that has seen some of the proponents of the genre such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Omah Lay, Fire Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake and several others become international stars, with Grammy wins and concerts around the world.
