Growing out my hair post chemo and really feeling like I had aged so much. Went and got a pro haircut this week, cutting off all the chemo curls, but just didn't love it. Was tooling around looking for next hair options and you really inspired me! I watched your video and then grabbed the clippers and got to work. Love the end result! Thank you so much! And it really *did* feel great to remove all that hair! Freedom!
You are so fun to watch! I've been buzzing my hair for years, and yes, I am a straight-up perfectionist! And I've really screwed my hair up at times. When that happens, I just wear a ball cap till it grows out a bit. So, finally, after nearly shaving my head bald a few times, I'm about to get the hang of it. This is what works for me: I use a retractable mirror that I attached to the wall in the bathroom near the sink. Above the sink, I have a medicine cabinet with a 3-sided mirror that I use along with the retractable mirror. That way, I can cut the back of my hair and the sides easily. Another thing I learned to do is use my right and left hand interchangeably. That method works great for me. You did a fantastic job cutting your hair, and it looks great on you! Happy cutting!

I'd just like to say thank you for giving me the courage to try to cut my own pixie at home! I've never done it before but I was SO SICK of my long hair. All I ever did was pull it up into a hair clip, and it had no life, and it was boring lol. I shed a few tears during my first haircut attempt, but I've got it to a place where I can live with it for now and hopefully I'll get better at it each time I do a trim. H O P E F U L L Y. YES !!! Her confidence rubbed off on me first time I stumbled upon her videos awhile ago. Do it, and the learning curve is tough at first, but you’ll get better. You know the diff between a mess-up and a good cut is only couple of weeks in a worse case scenario 🤣

My last short cut at a salon was awful. Got worse as it grew. I’d cut my hair through the Covid shutdowns and they weren’t too bad so decided to blow the cobwebs off the clippers and give it a go after watching you do yours and your method. I’m Trying not to be too fussy. I’m a Virgo and I try too hard for perfection 🥴. A real curse. I’m 75, white n grey hair with a semipermanent blonde so when I take my glasses off the fun begins, it’s all braille from then on 🤣. I now have a bra full of hair and a pretty neat clipper job with a long fringe (bangs). So many thanks for you’re vid, it was extremely helpful. 🇦🇺🦘💥
I've been cutting my own hair for about 10 years or more and years ago I picked up a cheap 3-way mirror that hangs off the back of my bathroom door An absolute ESSENTIAL part of my hair-cutting tools! Helps so much to have both hands free while being able to see the back of your head!

What will help with getting rid of lines is using your lever in between guards. For instance if you use a 2 guard and lever it down you will have a 2 1/2 guard. Lever up and you have an exact 2. Also thinning shears in between are also great for blending those lines.
Stacy you can also put on longer guards - up to 2.5” - and use for the top part. Simply part your hair or comb the front forward . Then take the clippers and pull in through your hair like a comb. Basically, instead of “pushing” the clippers UP through your hair you “pull” it through the top, sides, and back like you would comb your hair.
I think this short haircut looks fabulous on you really suits you beautifully well done. So many ladies enjoy clipper cut short hair now its great. It would be lovely to see you in a barbers shop too getting a nice clippercut if someone could film you. Well done💈💈👍❤️

I cut my hair short 2 days ago😋. I always separate my top in many little tails cause it's easier for me. But I'm really bad in fading 😮💨, so I normally end with an undercut. I love your haircut.😍
@@thestacystory166 Hi, Stacy.I clip upwards just under my bone. With scissors I graduate the length as I work upward taking it into a short wedge cut. I have LOTS of cowlicks, UNBELIEVABLY SO! My hair .... VERY tricky. It all pushes itself upward in the back so that's how it gets adorned everyday! Looks ok for what I have to work with.
I’ve been cutting my hair for 35+ years. Never liked any haircuts I have gotten..ever. So save that $..and whatever happens, it will grow back!🤪 I have had a few issues with my clippers when I got a little bit too zealous! Enter the comb-over!🎉😂-2 weeks and gone. I’ve watched a few of your videos and got some tips-thanks! Ps… I like the voice overs because it seems to speed things up in the process and not do much endless repeats. But WHY have the music? Makes things hard to hear at times ..I wonder why this is a trend now.. 🤷♀️ Your videos are so fun.. thanks!

I use Rave daily or Kenra 25 hairspray for a firmer hold. I prefer hairspray because it's a faster application than putty or paste. I also use Tactile dry texture spray by sexy hair for a dry fiber look.
