Our first Royal Caribbean cruise after many Disney Cruises
Kyle and I are trying something new to see if we should take our whole family on a Royal Caribbean cruise in the future. We had the quintessential "kidless" vacation and took it super easy. We did so much trivia and took naps daily and enjoyed all the delicious food. It was wonderful!

Did you not watch any of the shows? RC is renowned for having some of the best entertainment. Can’t really compare the two as the price range is so different. Disney is in the Premium bracket, even ultra if you look at some of their costs. I thought you would have done a summary of your thoughts at the end. What was your conclusions, would you sail RC again, take the kids as families is their market
@@MarkSibthorpe-yg8zu I was having some health issues that made me tire out very early but hopefully next time we go I will see ALL the shows! We have another RC cruise scheduled for this coming spring break 2025. I’m very excited!

Haircut video
I've been on a couple Disney but recently just finished with a RC cruise. I dunno, its just kinda "ok" i guess. There was nothing that had me going "I want to do this again!" when it was over. If anything, I kinda want Disney again, specifically that Marvel one that's coming out. That will probably be amazing. This might sound strange, but before this RC cruise, we went on the Carnival Mardi Gras expecting it to be like the Walmart of the Seas and it kinda was, but the food was really surprisingly good. Entertainment was good too. I told my wife, all things considered, Mardi Gras has a great ship becuase of how new it was, its just that you get a lot of people from lots of different walks of life on that ship and when the sun goes down... it gets ummm rowdy. People that had been drinking all day in the sun really tend to turn it up at night if you know what I mean. There were lots of fights.. there always is.
@@irql2 I totally agree! Disney just has some magic on there cruises that can’t be replicated. Your Walmart of the seas comment made me laugh and we are the same way. I’m trying to be less snobby but it’s going to take some time.
Completely agree! We have done Disney and Royal. The food is definitely elevated on Disney main dining in my opinion but not worth twice the price!

I remember first seeing this video maybe a year after you uploaded it? I'd not cut my hair through lockdown and waiting on vaccines, so I was tempted to just chop it myself. This is my exact haircut I've had for a long time and your hair is exactly the same type as mine. Well, I never got up the nerve to do it myself and started going to the salon again. Then a few months ago I decided I was going to do it! I hate going to hair salons, especially since I'm always asked "are you SURE you want it that short?!" It's an argument every time. I even started using clippers on the back to undercut it as high/short as I want so they'd not have a choice about it. Anyway, I remembered this video and spent a day or two digging through short hair/pixie cut YT videos looking for you and finally found it again! This time, I'm doing it! Thanks for keeping this video up, it would've driven me bonkers if I'd never found it again! I do have one question. The additional cutting/fixing in the back you did later, did you do it with the texturizing shears? Thanks!
