This album for me is the one that takes the longest to get into, but is one of the most rewarding once you have. Epic.

Just an FYI, I'm helping more and more Yanks discover Marillion. :) I'm very happy to do so. I was introduced to the band in 1993 by a Bulgarian class mate in college after he heard me listen to Pink Floyd and Genesis.
Marillion is unique and I hope sincerely they continue on with their outstanding music. :)

was disappointed when fish left as probably he is now. but last couple of years rediscovered what good musicians the remaining 4 are along with the added talents of steve h. This group is the last of the supergroups.....get over fish.....he had his time
I am 67 years hold, and I’m listening around 25 hours a week since a longtime and i did not know this band. They are great and I’m happy to hear those genius !!!!!!

I agree, this album after marbles was very difficult to get into, but once you do WOW. train, state of mind and wrapped up in time are just superb, definately on a par with fantastic place and neverland. Long may they continue.

New Marillion CDs remind me of being such a big fan of Rush back in the day. Our favorite gag was "Q:How do you like the new Rush album? A: I hate it, but I've only listened to it 5 times" Marillion always presents me with a challenge....I didn't like Somewhere Else very much until I saw the songs performed live...months after having the CD.

De tout ça, je n ai gardé que le cote musical mystique, le son unique, l ambiance particulière de l endroit..
Million me transporte 35 ans plus tard, dans cet état "au dessus du sol"...c est magnifique !! Le rock progressif reste pour moi le plus complet, le plus recherché..merci Genesis, peter Gabriel, pink floyd, barclay James harvest...
