Still remember this day like it was yesterday. Crazy to think that it’s been 10 years now.
Was thinking the same. Damn
@@samanthab1923 my thoughts exactly, felt like just a few years ago 😢
@@monsterglo Scary
I was thinking about this the other day. Can’t believe it’s been 10 Years rest in peace to all the victims of this horrible day
Seems so much longer ago.
can’t believe it’s been 10 years. feels like it was yesterday. i lived right outside of Boston at the time. that first 5 days when they were on the run was truly frightening to leave the house. and then to find out the younger brother attended UMASS Dartmouth which is right next to my hometown was unsettling. positive vibes to anyone directly affected.
Ik I didn’t realize it happened when I was in high school. I could’ve sworn I was in college. I didn’t realize the severity of that moment until recently and how everyone was afraid of another 9/11 type attack
I remember this clearly. I worked for a radio station in Boston and had to go on the air the morning or the shoot out and tell everyone to stay indoors. To get to the station I had to drive through 3 road blocks and then escorted to the station itself. I can't believe it's been 10 years!! "BOSTON STRONG"
Great story Chris, all the people who passed away from this tragedy may they rest in peace 🙏
This one hit me hard. The detail and respect you pay to the victims is amazing. Great job.
i remember watching this live. i used to watch the marathon every year and havent been able to since this day. rest in peace to the victims and God bless the survivor's
I listened to this whole thing from beginnings to the end by radio out here in the woods of eastern Ontario Canada ..now thanks to you I've gotten to finally see a visual of that horrific event in time .
Blessings to all affected by that time in history.
And thank you.
Knew Sean when he was on the auxiliary Police in Somerville, MA. Kind hearted and donated a lot of money to charity. A genuinely good dude. `
I remember this day well. Such a horrific time for our country. Rip to all that lost their lives that day and the horrific injuries to others.
I didn't know that the policeman died a year later from a brain aneurysm due to his original injury.
Martin would be 18 years old this year. That really hit me hard seeing this tonight
Incredible presentation as always Chris. Absolutely fascinating and so well told. Thanks so much as always for posting. Love from Ireland 🇮🇪
Great Video... I Remember Watching This Live In North Carolina & Being Completely In In Horror For Everyone In Attendance & For Watching At Home. I Am Deeply Saddened At The Loss Of Life. May They RIP & I Hope Everyone Who Was Affected Get Stronger & More Amazing Than What They Already Are!! ❤
That was an *extremely* well put together piece. I remember when that went down, but I wasn't aware of all the particulars. Thanks Chris.
I would like to take the time out to appreciate all the hard work that Chris puts into making all these videos as always you put in a 💯 percent in all your videos and you always tell it with compassion and kindness and understanding that's why we all love watching your channel and not forgetting all the traveling you put into making all these videos as well.i can't thank you enough for doing all these videos... keep up the fantastic work Chris ...
Hey bud. You havent posted in like a week lol. I was worried! I did get to go back and watch all your older stuff again which is AMAZING. Keep up the good work. So much info. To be you man. Cheers from Canada
This was such a tragic day. I stayed up watching and keeping track until he was finally found in that boat
That was so scary. People kept in their homes. Was just eerie out.
I remember that. I was watching, too, everything, all day. there was non stop coverage.
I was going to an EMT course at WSU at the time and my instructor was one of the medics that ran the Marathon first aid tents. To say this struck close to home is an understatement. In the years since then I’ve deployed to Afghanistan and become a trauma nurse, but I still remember those stories as my first experience hearing about real trauma.
I was in Watertown when the kid hid in that boat! Everyone was locked down didn't matter if u were in a store or house! I've never seen anything like that 😢😢😢
Thanks again, Chris. Well done. Sad memories for us all.
Crazy that it’s been 10 years since this happened I forgot all about this until I start seeing it all over the internet again
I remember waking up to this on the news. It was my 7th Birthday.
Chris, thank you for doing this on the 10th anniv of the bombing. A friend's daughter is married to one of those that lost his leg in the blasts. I was supposed to work the hospital tent that day, but was at Ft Dix, NJ for medical reasons. Several of my friends actually were working,, mere yards from the bombing. So much destruction was wrought by these two, unnecessarily. Safe trip home (if you're not already there).
Thank you so much for sharing!! Greetings from the Netherlands
It was interesting. Unbelievable the mayhem these 2 created. Chattering people’s lives for their own beliefs. It’s so scary because this can happen again. Thank you!
Chris would you fulfill my suggestion by visiting the grave of john philip sousa please and you are a sweet special kind person on youtube ♥️😊
eM Ke, you meant to say "shattering" I think. Sorry, it was funny. LOL
With our wide open border it’s only a matter of time
Ty . This is great video.
That was a great story of honesty and facts thanks so much
Great video. Thank you brother, keep it up!
So sad, Thank you for remembering them, No one else seems to have, no flowers on any of those poor folks resting places, RIP to them all
Thank u for sharing this w us.Very interesting story of two brothers. Very sad.😮
It was Boston Strong 💪. Thanks Chris.
My daughter and a few of her friends were vacationing in Boston when the manhunt happened. If you look at a map of Tamerlin's path, it's a triangle. My daughter's hotel was smack dab in the middle of that triangle. All of the parents were frantic, as no one could reach them. Their room was in the basement and they had no cell service. When they came up for breakfast, there ẃere SWAT teams and police everywhere. Then, all of their phones went off with all the voicemail, tests, etc that they'd missed. They had a front row seat to all the chaos. As the city was in lock down, they decided to go to Salem. Meanwhile, I kept the TV on and find the wonders of international news reporting. Those sources had info that wasn't ɓiased or being withheld. They arrived back at their hotel as the parade of vehicles were leaving the scene. People were outside lining the streets and cheering on all of the responders. She said it was one trip she'll never forget. Neither will I.
I was in my biology 1 class when we literally spent the whole block (period) watching those videos from that day. Crazy it’s been 10 years cause it for sure feels like yesterday. And to think the younger brother was granted as a US citizen on (9-11)-2012
What's really sad is that our own judicial system in the 1st Circuit Court thought the a**hole deserved a lighter sentence by overturning the death sentence and 3 other charges... Like what? Why? How does going easy on psychotic cold blooded murderers help anyone else? I'm sad about their rampage but glad it ended in a better way for justice sake and hope Jahar never sees sunlight again.
Thank you, and good Luck!
Great video!
So sad and thanks for sharing it.
Great work
I remember when this happened. Thank you for this video.
Such a crazy chain of events! So sad.
Love your videos 😊
I do remember watching it on TV. The marathon bombing. It was a sad day. R.I.P to all people. Thanks Chris for this video
This is one I will always remember was a sophomore in high school and I remember everyone talking about it
This was a time in history when video and social media were just starting to become huge what a time.
Somebody should have been FRIED already. Why are they not ROOM TEMPERATURE by now?
Wow like you videos, very informative
Whats messed up about this whole issue they killed all these people, hurt all these people but yet the brother is protected in prison!!!! ((R.I.P TO THE VICTIMS))
Grew up half mile from shootout crazy days
This whole 'first' thing has got to stop. - a concerned citizen
Simple to say died from their injuries
You basically did it yourself in a roundabout way. It's not an airport you don't have to announce your entrance.
I think you are telling important stories we must never forget.
OMG I DEFINETLY REMEMBER THIS!!!!!! I saw the News about!!!! My older brother looked ALOT like him!!! When he was in high school, everyone kept saying KUMAR to him!!!! One time someone siad my older brother shouldn’t go to Boston bc people might think he escaped. But no!!!!
Excellent depiction of this tragic event with perfect editing.
Just finished the Netflix documentary… Boston & Watertown PD should be embarrassed. Not informing the arresting patrol officers that the stolen car was the vehicle of the Boston bombers… firing off hundreds of rounds in a residential neighborhood basically hitting nothing… making an arrest on one while allowing the second suspect to get away and almost run over the arresting officers… firing over 100 rounds into the boat when the terrorist didn’t even have a gun, again putting the residents lives at risk. Felt like I was watching Police Academy.
Man I remember when this shit went down and the chaos on Reddit of people trying to find the guy
More this kind of blog!!! ❤❤
10 years later
I had a friend who was running in the marathon and he was really close to where one went off. he was fine but he said it was madness
The Boston Marathon will forever run on Patriots Day in honor of the lives lost on that Monday. Boston Strong Always
Crazy and sickening that Rollingstone Magazine put the younger brother on the cover.
Your in my city Bud!
I live in Watertown, I handed out guns to everyone in my house who knows how to use one, I even lent my neighbor a 12 gauge just so his wife could sleep soundly, she was old and he was a WW2 Vet so np lending him one, it was insane though.
I remember working in the outback steakhouse kitchen when this tragedy happened, saw it on the news
I remember this I was in the living room seeing it on the tv and telling my mom that there was a terrorist attack I'll never forget it.
Thank you, Chris! ❤
I remember when that happened. Pretty crazy
I've only heard and read pits and pieces on this bombing. Netflix has a documentary about it now. I sat down to watch it but couldn't finish it. I cried so hard 😭 absolutely horrific
Thanks Chris.
I can't believe that it been 10 years since it happened it feels like yesterday I remember hearing about on the TV if really got to me when I heard about it ..RIP to all the victims I'm so sorry for what happened to you didn't deserve this fly high with the Angels and sleep tight God loves you all safe in God's loving arms... gone but not forgotten 😇 🙏
I love this Chanel
I was in high school when this happened.
Your videos are amazing. You should do some collaborations with Lamont.
I still boycott rolling stone magazine for putting that pos on the cover
I still remember how the official footage zoomed in right before the explosion.
my aunt was there when the bombs went off. She had to go to the doctor. Thank god she's fine today. May the others rest in peace from this.
If I am not mistaken Jahar was transferred from a Boston prison to a prison in Florence Colorado called ADX which is a lockdown supermax prison. But if I am wrong please correct me
He is at ADX yes
3:16 is that Nick Miller
It’d be difficult to spot 9mm bullet indents and any holes. 9mm isn’t a round that would penetrate like a rifle round would even if they traveled at the same velocity.
I remember seeing this on TV. I guess I was in disbelief that terrorists could strike America after 9/11. I initially thought that it was a gas-line that exploded and not a bomb.
RIP to all those killed. Hope and continued healing to all those who were wounded.
I cancelled my Rolling Stone magazine subscription when they fan-girled the bomber.
I live in providence Rhode Island an hour away from that crime scene
Cool vlog ‘n
Did you do this video already
No, I've never been to these locations before.
Please just stop! I said a year ago all this grave hunting death obsession would grab hold of you and not let go. What happened to visiting the worlds biggest dog or sand dune surfing or abandoned bridge exploring?? It’s all grave graves graves now. I can just switch the channel off, but can you switch this off psychologically??
I seriously worry. Wishing you all the best
A lot of people don’t know about this part of the story but the older brother actually robbed and slit the throats of 3 people, one being his friend prior to the bombings.
He does a great job narrating this but like you said a lot of people don't realize that there was a murder investigatiand that he was one of the main suspects they think it was a marijuana distribution ring distribution ring That either went bad or he was just robbing them This is one of the things that angers me so much about this whole situation The older brother was literally throwing red flags up Being investigated internationally For his ties to Russian extremist groups his the Muslim extremist groups And locally for a drug dintroduction and investigations into multiple homicides And locally for drug Distribution and investigations into multiple homicides There is absolutely no reason for him to have slipped through the cracks . As for the younger brother the state police should have ventilated the POS in the boat.
I read about that
Hulu documentary about it
@MagaGoons77 the one I saw was on CZcams. I don't know if the one you watched was the same
@@annetteslife Netflix cover the story really well, it's a must watch
Dzhokhar is so cute and handsome ❤
I remember just being so heartbroken and how the whole city rallied to catch the scum bags who did it. We celebrated when the first brother was hunted down and killed.
It’s mind blowing to find out that Russian authorities warned our government about the older brother and nothing was done.
Ten years ago....:(
Dzhokhar is so cute and handsome ❤❤❤
Been wanting to get my hands on the young one for a long time.
That's sad 😢
May God comfort the families of those who perished. My sincerest condolences.
Another dark day in our country. RIP
I wonder if the boat owner sold his boat, like others who sell murder memorabilia.
He got a new one I believe. Someone said he passed away.
Ciekawy film😊😊
And then the Rolling Stone magazine put the bomber's picture on their cover.
PLEASE somebody name the officer who stood with Martins body all day?????Anybody? Thank you
"For nearly 12 hours on that fateful Patriots Day a year ago, Frank Armstrong led a squad of Boston police officers who stood watch over the bodies of Martin Richard and Boston University student Lingzi Lu."
-Boston Herald
Think the youngest was hiding in a boat ..if I remember
Now he's locked up 24/7 as he should be. Florence SuperMax Prison for the worst of the worst.
No. Incorrect. Crisis A
😢i remember when it happened
The younger boy is in a supermax for the rest of his life under permanent solitary confinement with no calls, no letters, and no visitors. Don't you know he feels like his older brother who died was the lucky one?
I thought he was getting “fan” mail. 🤮
Remember it well. Sick individuals. Thank you for honoring those who passed.
Rip to all the victims tragic
