Hey Brant....nice video! I grew up here in Okaloosa county (68 now) and from the time I can remember my Dad would take us fishing and camping from fort pickens to panama city....was an every summer thing (he got 4 weeks vacation every year) Have fished almost all the piers and bridges between here and there. A bunch of the bays and bayous also, not to mention all the rivers and lakes. I have been on Blackwater and Yellow river from the state line down to the bay. To me the panhandle is one of the prettiest places there is. It was a lot prettier back in the '60s and 70s before all the building happened on the gulf, but still a great place to live. Was just a great place to grow up!

Very kool footage! The sharks and gators etc is why I don't swim anywhere near salt water or rivers leading to the ocean! Bull sharks have been found over a thousand miles up rivers! No no no

Love the "live action" Go-Pro drops. I have been working on my wife to get her up to making a trip to Florida. She always says that I can go fishing here in AZ whenever I want. NOW, after watching these videos, she understands the allure and difference in fishing in Florida vs AZ. Though I don't think she'll go swimming in the ocean if we get out that way. The sharks really spooked her, lol. Thanks for the continued quality content you provide to us. Great stuff! Have a good one guy.

Brad, your unknown fish is a "Bermuda Chub". Not a species you want to eat. They are infamous for trailing cruise ships waiting for the "human waste" to be expelled from their suage bilges. Nice videos.

I'm from Bermuda. They are as said the Bermuda Chub. They are dark meat fish, thick filets, easy to catch with bread using upto 15-20lv test, no sinker or float, just hook and bread.
Taste is how you season it. At times abit oily but when all else fails better than being pricked by Pin fish ASA Shit Bibblers in Bermuda, as they pop as soon as you handle them. Good white meat, but thin filets and boney .

I am in South Australia, I believe that our coastal waters are chronically overfished. No point fishing without a boat, I gave up fishing off our jetty's. It's been about 20yrs. Everyone I've asked said it's now even worse. It's amazing to see what a decent ecosystem looks like. 😢

Don’t get me wrong, your fishing vids are fantastic Brant, but this “drop” video is such a banger. I feel like I’m snorkeling there. And like you mention, the diversity is insane.. I also thinks it’s incredible that you were spotting mutton’s up north by you. I’m such a fan of catching snapper when I get to Florida. Mutton’s ,mangroves and sheepshead are my favor to go for. And damn, it’s amaze how many tiger sharks are in that are. They would certainly keep me from spear fishing. Lol. Keep up they great work and narration. These drop videos are so interesting. 👍🏻🇺🇸
