During my employment in India, I was paid in cash, and for security reasons, my company included my PAN number and bank account number on my pay stubs. However, I am unable to obtain a verification letter because the company has since closed. i heard some other people told me that outside of Canada, they will never ask for tax stuff at other country, is this true? if I have salary certificate that mentioned pay in cash, but in my country it's under the amount that we have to file tax so I don't have any record for tax.
