Red Stars have a history of last second goals. Saw them score 2 goals in extended time to get a draw a couple years back.
Props to Red Stars for hanging in there in enemy territory to split the points. If only they had the home support like KC enjoys
The Red Stars - Bay FC sold 35,038 tickets. CPKC Stadium only holds 11,500. The Red Stars have two things going against them. Their stadium isn't in the City of Chicago where a huge proportion of people don't use a car. And then the stadium is just to big. It's worse in Seattle. So Chicago needs a relatively small stadium on a train line.
Man that first half the refs were just bonkers! I've never seen someone get BLANTANTLY head butted and nothing happen. It wasn't until the second half where they finally started being fair

a) as long one team gives up possession of the ball: has not chance to score goals.
b) Possession of the ball is the best defense.
c) A team may decide to bunker down; it's just matter of time until a mistake happens and boom: goal (Chicago in the first haft).
d) Chicago defense was light on today; even though they could not stop Chawinga, they did not give up on the play and were always pressing her. They gave Nahar a chance to save them.

KC is a dangerous team but Gotham has the #1 defense and they are champs. Gotham knows how to win these type of games. Chicago was winning but couldn't hold it.
