Excited to see you decorating your new apartment. Moving is a great way to purge stuff. I am cleaning out my bedroom, and it's like a move, if I don't use it or wear its gone. I have decided no more junk furniture. Any furniture i buy now will be solid wood. My cheap desk, and IKEA closet are both falling apart. Now I have to pay someone to take them. Very excited for you!!!

I LOVE JEFF. I listen to him on the calm app every morning on the train on my way to work. I just love his approach to meditation. The sleep stories also changed my sleep hygiene it helps me fall asleep so much faster! Another thing I love on the app is their masterclasses. if you search masterclass a bunch of diff topics come up and they are so interesting! another tip if you still have stuff to donate and don’t have time to take it- All Of Us Clothing donations will pick up your donations in the NYC area! You just text them to schedule a pickup, they will give you a scheduled day you can leave the stuff with your doorman and they pick it up! I can’t wait to see your DC content! Congratulations on the new apartment. Nice to be the first person in it. Good on you for decluttering. Moving is such a good excuse to get rid of crap. I can never see the point of paying movers to move stuff you don't need to a new place. If you can afford it, get yourself to some new furniture. You deserve it.

The 16 mo lease is better since if you DO want to move you won’t be doing it in the winter again!
Will you get a car? DMV definitely need transportation.
