- Roger Ebert and guest host Joyce Kulhawik split on Stuart Little based on the novel by E. B. White. Kulhawik like the film and its appeal to kids and Ebert hated the film because it compared unfavorabley to the book.

2:03 That look on her face. 😅
I know, it's like: "Really? I had NO idea!" :)
This was an excellent film on every level. I admire it as much today as an adult as I did when I was, well, little. The second one was equally terrific. I've been warned away from the third one, which was made exclusively for DVD and VHS.
I love this flim Stuart Little a lot on 📼 when I was a 7 year old child since since 2008. Stuart Little and Toy Story 2 are both my all-time favorite and best flim of the year 1999.
I was going to type something else but the way Roger just killed Joyce's buzz like that had me cracking up.
She totally didn’t see it coming either. 😂
@@RuffRyder_43 they also had a major disagreement on Gladiator as well
@@65g4 Yeah I saw that one too
@@65g4 I wonder if Roger's vociferous yelling about his complaints with _Gladiator_ and _Stuart Little_ caused Joyce to form a rival show called _Hot Ticket,_ which ran from 2001 to 2004 and was co-hosted by Leonard Maltin and (briefly) game show host Todd Newton.
I love Roger Ebert, but come on dude! You gave Cop and a half a good review and that was 10x worse than this film.
He'll never live that down. I saw that movie as an 8 year old abd I knew it sucked donkey balls
@@Blodia1990 "and".
That, of course, would be a fact Gene made absolutely sure to embarrass Roger about when he was alive.
He gave the second Stuart Little movie a positive review and a thumbs up, which I actually see why, I honestly prefered the second Stuart Little more than the first as it was closer to the book and I just film was more memorable, charming and magical than the first movie, but that's just my opinion.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Little actually GAVE BIRTH to Stuart in the book.
WHAT? Lol.
@@Xayjohns Yep. Very true.
@@zacharysiple783 That's impossible.
@@patrickshields5251 So is a mouse talking. It's called fiction.
@@zacharysiple783 I know that. But it still makes no sense for a human being to literally give birth to a mouse.
Roger: I hated this movie.
Roger Ebert, you’re an amazing critic, but sometimes, you’re a monster
Roger gave this movie 2/4 Stars.
I remember telling my mom "there's the guy from House" and she didn't believe me.
I disagree. Stuart Little is one of my favorite childhood movies I ever loved.
Me Too I watch it a lot on 📼 when I was a 7 year old child since 2008
2:04 That face should become a meme.
To be honest, I agree with Joyce.
So do I.
Her: This was adorable!
Ebert: ...Yeah so anyways I hated this movie
WAIT. DID SOMEBODY SAY "STUART LITTLE"? BECAUSE I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THE MOVIE🎥, BY THE WAY. IT'S 2 THUMBS WAY UP 4 ME, BUT I DON'T HATE IT, ALRIGHT? END OF DISCUSSION.
They both have the second Stuart Little two thumbs up
Roger, I mean no disrespect to you. But, I loved this film (and still do) ever since I first saw it in the theater.
1:56Her reaction lmao
What's up Roger Ebert's ass?!?! I mean his opinion is his own and that's totally fine and granted this movie is not totally perfect, it's extremely dark at times (but's not a surprise since M NIGHT SHYAMALAN wrote the script) and can also be very depressing for a majority of it's 85 minute runtime; BUT SERIOUSLY!!!!! the movie wasn't that bad.

Roger could get carried away with his opinions on film and could get superior with his opinion.
🐀
It’s freaky. He hated the first Stuart Little and it was amazing and he liked the second Stuart Little and it was terrible
No it wasn't, I actually loved the second more than the first. It was more magical and charming in my opinion and it had a great soundtrack, storyline and it was closer to the book
