Kinda near tears with this as I love that with this video and your positive insights, you are not looking down on those who Zara (and other fast fashion) might be what's within some ladies budget at the time. Some of the comments reflect the shaming and gatekeeping that comes with women simply trying to look better however best they can afford it - - while videos like this demonstrate that elegant ladies show constructive kindness and understanding toward those genuinely looking to improve themselves.
I remember a time where I was barely making enough to keep life sustainable - - I was humble enough to focus where I needed yet still I was very very sad feeling like elegance was out of reach in my life. Tips like these are helpful for ladies to incorporate elegance within their budget, helping them feel better about how they look as they continue do better for themselves in other areas. True. Also, it's easier on the budge for those of us who's trying to lose weight. I wont buy substantial clothing purchases until i get to my goal, however I find "fast fashion" a good alternative until then.

The one thing I struggle with the most isn't finding the right clothes, but the RIGHT shoes for wearing those clothes. I never have a clothing problem but always a shoe problem.

H&M has these turtle neck 3/4 sleeve shirts as well at the moment, and the fabric feels so light and good, perfect for end of summer! And even cheaper with a great cut. I went travelling and found it by accident and am so happy about it.

An interesting note about Zara an insider told me is that because of the company's size, it can afford to get good designers not only for their clothes items but also for the design of their fabrics and fabric patterns. I purchased a few summer dresses this year that had people stopping me to compliment them.
Target is similar. My hairdresser's boyfriend worked for Target for a year and made a fortune. Low status but high cash! In a different business, a tabloid reporter makes much more money than a high status legacy newspaper for the same reason of status vs. money. Interesting!
In Fast Fashion, it’s not the designers who are being unsupported and underpaid, it’s the workers. There are many environmental, as well as basic human rights reasons, to find an alternative outlet for fashion. If everyone were receiving a fair wage, it’s impossible a garment could be sold for so little money. Please consider this when you shop, please. ❤️
I usually stay away from fast fashion because they are greatly lacking in quality and workmanship. Yet, I will watch with an open mind! I always enjoy your videos and look forward to them every week.
I agree. I’m moving away from these cheap high street clothes. No more Primark or H and M. I like Zara, Mango, Marks and Spencers, Reiss and Hobbs

@ Mile C I would classify Zara as fast fashion. Mango too but it’s better quality. The rest on the list are mid range/premium and actually tend to be better quality than “designer” because they’re all about the quality rather than flashy labels
Although @L Musima H&M does have a premium range including some cashmere pieces. Don’t stay away from fast fashion just know how to shop smart. Primark can go though 😁 but their cosmetic bags are ok

I own a few of Zara’s blazers, coats and blouses that look expensive and I always get complements on. It hit or miss store but it works , I rather travel the world than spend my month salary on Chanel jacket

I was struggling with that myself. I got a ton of clingy dresses from ASOS because they’re more slimming and reduce the bulk. Now that the weather is turning I pair them with motorcycle jackets and light colored puffer vests. I get tons of compliments. I’ve found that the maternity pants don’t look so great because most tops add a lot of bulk however I invested in the high waisted spanx leggings and tuck my sweaters above my bump and pair with nice tennis sneakers or heeled boots.
I know Anna does not approve of leggings but I think we can make an exception during pregnancy

Loved the outfits my dear Anna! Please continue making these shopping haul videos becasue it gives us phenomenal ideas and inspiration for outfits. I personally hate oversize trend as well becasue as a petite it makes me look wider and bulky. Love tailored, high waisted, well fitted garments.

Anna, when shopping I'm always like "would Anna wear this ?" and the other day I got that same turtle neck in the same color ! I'm so happy you really chose it !
I wish I could get well dressed like this all the time. I'm a 5 months old mom, working from home. So it isn't worthy to wear my nice clothes at home because they will get dirty by baby's puke and cleaning products. But I try my best to look as neat as possible and I refuse myself to spend the days on pajamas.
Edit to add : But thanks to you, Im allways keeping my hair blown dry. I learned how to do it myself and it makes a lot of difference.

Let me tell you that this is exactly my style for years now, I've always chosen clothes intuitively. And I'm shocked that the more videos I watch of you the more I'm questioning myself how did I do that without taking any kind of training?!

You must have had a very good example in your mom! I know that's where I learned most of my style, but even when I was a little kid, ten or so, I was very particular about my clothes and I have never liked cheap stuff--I looked around, even in thrift stores, for classic, good-quality items I could afford.
