Watched this over and over again. The energy is infectious. Brilliant. However no one seems to have noticed the addition of the arpeggios, organ and brass bits. Must be done from the desk and all playing to a click track. Anyone ??
As a singer/ lead guitarist who has played this song many times since the eighties, that was well done!
The Toto boys have been a heavy influence on me since I was 15. They are arguably the one of the greatest collective of musicians over the last few generations and I have to say this by far is the greatest cover of this tune I've seen!! All accolades for this group are well deserved!!

What are the elements of a cover band? How do they capture the sound of the original band, and yet personalizing it and making it their own? Watch these guys and you will learn how it's done. Sometimes it's just raw talent, others times it's emphasizing the hooks and signals that made the song popular in the first place.
This song takes me back to the early 80s and Chicago. Why Chicago? Well, my father's sister's family lived in Chicagoland and when we would visit them fairly frequently back then, we would go downtown Chicago and visit the museums and stuff. And this album was playing on the radio a lot back then. So I attribute Rosanna and Africa with Chicago. Weird story, I know, but it's how I remember hearing Toto then.

You're kidding....right? The Porcaro shuffle and the ghost notes are nowhere to be found in this performance. Solid drummer for sure, just not accurate to an iconic drum performance.
