Great project! I redid the wiring on my 1969 Mustang but used the stock harness and modified it where it was falling apart. I should have spent the money earlier and did an entire kit like this when the car was apart. I would have saved myself some headaches... Just found the channel and love the content!

Yo Smackey I’m just about ready to find someone who can do this for me. Issues with my hands and just life, time and general stuff, I can’t really commit to doing this myself. Was hoping to find a youtuber close to me Into mustangs. I got all the harnesses, I just need the loom clips and connectors. No compromises. I don’t want to be taking it back apart in a year for crap I should’ve done now.

David needs to install some bronze bushings in his door hinges, or have you do it. Makes it much nicer to open and close the doors, they don't squeak and the doors latch properly. And - if you care - the capacitor on the center channel is used as a filter to block low frequencies because small speakers can't reproduce low frequencies. Capacitors are short circuits to high frequencies, but block low frequencies. If you know the frequency you want to start blocking, the formula for calculating the point where the capacitor starts to shut down low frequencies is 1/2(pi)C, or 1/6.28(C), as it is wired in your circuit.
