- Here's the next vlog in this Ambassador Ambition cruise series! Today I give you a full rummage through my Ocean View cabin, cabin 7107 (deck 7, "boat deck") located aft and port side Bearing in mind this ship is 24 years old, how does this Ocean View Cabin stand up against modern cruise ship cabins? Well, I have the answer right here, in addition to information about room service (it was a disaster), laundry facilities and important things like shower power and how well the hair dryer blows (this was a total disaster). A very nice cabin. On the window ledge we liked to put our Christmas tree on & put the presents also on the ledge.Another successful Vlog Jamie. Enjoyed viewing.

The pools had no water. They don’t in part 2. If I had a part 3 they wouldn’t. If I waited a year, they wouldn’t. A decade? Still no water.
Brilliant vlog Jamie. I actually quite like the cabin with the space. I actually like the nautical themed wall at the window and absolutely love the purple colour. It did certainly seem rather expensive for the in room breakfast and the way the person spoke about how you can make the coffee yourself for the price your paying they certainly could bring coffee. From what I've seen of your experience of this cruise line I personally don't think this would be the cruise line for me.

Hi Jamie. Here goes my final report. 1. There was no water when we first arrived and kept a close eye on maybe being charged for one. 2. I don't expect you to remember but I had previously mentioned that I have never ordered breakfast in my cabin and was going to take the plunge this time. Sad to say that we were not provided with a breakfast ordering form, so was surprised/disappointed to see that you had one. However, maybe I had a lucky escape, judging by your experience. 3. Our twin cabin had just the 2 beds and no bunks, so very pleased with it, plus the large window. Nice and roomy. It took us 24 hours to find the safe behind that panel! It was so firmly shut it would not readily open. I have to say that we had no complaints about the cleanliness over our 4 nights, good bed making etc. We, too, did not see our attendant from start to finish, always in the background. 4. On the tv, we found the ship tracker but it had us off the coast of Africa at one point. We tried watching a film on a couple of occasions but couldn't work out how to access the beginning of a film or index. Thank you for your review. And finally: would I sail with Ambassador again? ABSOLUTELY, I now want to try Ambience for comparison. Any minor problems encountered, I put down to the last minute major change from one ship to another in exceptional circumstances. My next cruise is with Fred Olsen next year and my daughter (Michaela) is looking at either Celebrity or the new Queen Anne for us in 2025!!!. Bon voyage and a very Happy New Year to you and yours. 😊

The price for the bottle of water isn’t Too bad, but I’d drink it from the tap (unless you’re on explorer of the seas - it was Brown tap water !!!) glad you sent the breakfast back!! Poor show Ambassador!!! Poor, very poor!!

For the cost of Ambassador cruises, the cabin is clean and adequate...have been in smaller cabins. However one should not be spending a lot of time in them. Plenty of storage though.
It is a good sized / configured cabin compared to some cruise line cabins. One should spend as much time in a cabin as one wishes. I don’t like to tell people how to spend their holidays. Everyone is different.

Thanks for this. I'm booked for 7th April and was upgraded to sea view from an inside one when I called to ask why I couldn't get another discount around black Friday. They did include gratuities though which the agent I booked through didn't include so that's a win. It was more than the £333 single person one around Northern Europe I booked on MSC in 2021 but was cancelled but looking forward it (even though it's only around the south coast and France. I may end up hoping to get to Bristol 😂)

Perfectly adequate cabin and good to have a glass shower door instead of a shower curtain.
Dreadful breakfast but fortunately I never have breakfast in my cabin. I would have sent it back too.
Unfortunately my breakfast experience in the MDR and buffet was just awful 😞 I was pleased to go ashore!

Been on amtion its a miss match its had a refurbishment when it was Aida ship just before covid outside cabin areas are all old costa days inluding the artwork outside and all had a spruce up but it looks like they never got round to outside cabin areas its a lovely old ship hated the chairs in dining room and yes we sent the breakfast back it was cold as well

Cabin looked OK but a bit dated as did the bathroom, could have done with a fridge. Breakfast was a disgrace as are the nearly £2 bottles of luke warm drinking water I wonder how many mugs drink them. I laughed my head off at the tiny £14 laundry takeaway bag.
Oh yes those bags are tiny lol 😂
Sorry to say but I've been in nicer truck drivers cabins crossing the Irish Sea and had nicer breakfast that I wouldn't feed my dogs
