Yoooo congrats you got his name right!!! Kah-zey! With a Z (not 'TH' because that sound doesnt actually exist in Japanese and Japanese folks tend to hear it as a Z or S). Hope it sticks though and you dont get confused and revert to something else again lol. If you ever get unsure again, just listen to how the guy himself says it in the videos I mentioned before and go with what you hear. There's only so much guidance text can provide and different people saying different things will only cause confusion.
Really happy you're having so much fun with his covers. :)))

You finally turned the treasure box over. I'm Japanese, but I've loved Western music since I was young, and I was fascinated by Kaze-san’s cover of ”Englishman in New York".
(as a side note, "san" is a common honorific title in Japanese. but you don't have to care about Japanese honorifics. i respect your attempt to pronounce "Kaze"-san correctly. sorry i'm using a translator.)
Other English cover songs by Kaze-san that I love are:
    "Alone Again - Gilbert O'sullivan(cover)" --- I actually cried.
"It Never Rains In Southern California" --- Thanks to Kaze-san, the story of this song touches my heart.
”Amy Winehouse - Rehab" --- It's as if Amy has possessed him. And I like the ending, it's very humorous.

I feel from my similar experiences that unnecessarily long logical explanations would also lead to confusion. Pronunciation of foreign names in particular can be very difficult. Sometimes I thought a simple explanation might be good enough to make it sound similar to the sound you want to pronounce. Thank you xxx m(__)m
