I think many people are disappointed about these dolls is because they really don’t know anything about the film or haven’t watched it lol. Which I recommend to watch, it’ll make you notice the details and appreciate them even more. I find it kind of funny that Monster high is based of these classics horror films yet a portion of their fan base don’t know anything of them. Just a funny observation lol. I’m a die-hard fan when it comes to classic horror films, so I’m very excited about this Skullector pack.

"We belong dead" is something that Frankenstein's monster says at the end of Bride of Frankenstein. No idea where the Bride's shoes came from. I don't think she wears any in the movie. She's barely in it. Most of her screen time is just her hissing and screaming. I think any Monster High fan worth their salt should check out the old Universal films the main ghouls were based off of. Tubi has them all right now. I love this doll set, hopefully I can fight off the stupid bots to get it.

I think it was mentioned with G3 Frankie that they no longer had the rights to the classic Frankenstein which is why G3 Frankie was missing her neck bolts and was blue. But this would contradict that statement right? Cause this is exactly Frankenstein's monster.
They had to have paid for the licensing to create this pack, which would be fine for a one-off as opposed to paying to use the likeness to Frankenstein's Monster for every single playline release. With G1 repro I'm guessing they're able to do those bc the dolls aren't using new designs so those are already hitting the criteria of "we already 'paid' for the licensing".

For 90 dollars, they immediately look cheap to me. The brides dress looks so flimsy and torn up compared to her original from the movie. The random belt and pop of blue throws me off, and the molded hair on Frankenstein's monster... For 90 dollars??? No accessories, basic looking stands. I'm just disappointed at the price point when the quality does not match up...
The brides dress is a lil too basic for me 🤷♂️ Not even anything like lightning on it or bolts or black stitching (like on frankie steins body) Just plain w h i t e I feel like they could of done way better 💀 No hate on the designer(s) or anything I just dont really like it- it would of atleast been cool if they put magnets in Frankensteins head so his bolts can come out and be switched and stuff like that one episode of Monster high where frankie reversed their bolts on accident 🤷♂️ Or they could of added like soft pointed spikes all around some parts of the bride's dress and like green stitching connecting it all Like they definitely should of done more with it so the $90 seems 100$ worth it like beetlejuice, they weren't really plain, they had details and little designs on them, the bride dont really have that but Frankenstein does on his jacket, + his shirt is just black- I mean I'm fine with that but what if it was a plaid design to match Frankie?
