If it would be low on ATF, it would not drive at all, first drop the oil pan and see what condition is the atf. Pay attention, whats on the bottom, if you see any metal or golden flakes.

My 1995 mercedes c280 drives in reverse but does not drive forward I heard it could be just the transmission speed sensors I'm studying this video so I know how to remove the transmission and torque converter if that's the last option / also this might be a good time to replace the bushings in the shifter console and two bushings under the car ( shifting rod ) near the transmission should check or replace connector to the transmission you did an amazing job with this video keep up the good work

So I took the trans mount off with the bracket and still it doesn't give me enough clearance to put the modulator on. How do you put the bracket on to suit the modulator in place?

Remove transmission mount, and muffler rubber hangers, you should be able to tilt the transmission end down, just check that front of the engine doesn't crash into the radiator.
@@otiscarlton4572 no, you don't need to loosen bellhousing bolt , these are the ones that attach Transmission to engine. At the back of the transmission there's a plate wirh a rubber mount, loosen this plate to lower the back of the transmission.
And by doing that it'll give me enough space to work on the modulator? Because the modulator is towards the front? Sorry with all the questions. I just want to be certain. Thank You! Very much!!
hey was going to do a transmission fluid and filter change. any recommendations for fluid to use besides the expensive mb brand. I was looking at valvoline max life atf they list it as approved for the mb tranny any thoughts for me?? thanks.

Good Today I changed my transmission mount on my c280 and that went well. But when I drove down the road a few yards the car just stopped. The car wouldn’t move in Drive or Reverse. & when I try putting it in Park it makes this grinding noise. I checked under the car & there were no leaks from the trans as far as I could see. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? Thanks a lot

Sergey Dubrovin Да. Процедура таже. Скачай ATSG manual na 722.3 722.4 трансмисии. Он довольно хороший. Только сегодня наконец-то моя трансмисия заработала как надо. При сборке я ошибся и поставил бумажную прокладку не с той стороны и не было давления масла, в результате буксовала при трогании с места. Советую наити 2 манометра 300 psi и 100 psi для проверки после ремонта. На трансмисии есть 3 Тест порта, рабочее давление, давление модулятора и давление центробежного (не знаю как назвать). Постараюсь закончить видео по сборке и загрузить.
Yes. Lots of models used 722.4 transmission, but you need to look for the full code for example 1992 300D (2.5L Turbo) has 722.418 W4A020. Need to know exact year and model of the car to find the right transmission code.

Transmissions are designated as 722.4xxx, 722.5xx . 722.4xx are pure hydraulic transmissions, they don't have TCM. 722.5xx are electronic transmissions , they have electrical solenoid valve to switch the gears. These are automatic transmission. Are you looking for a manual transmission?
transmission is apart..... reverse clutch friction plates are done, spring retaining washer exploded into pieces. used a videocamera and now need to find a cheap way to convert MOD files to mp4. Windows movie maker doesn't like MOD files.

At the back of the transmission there's a plate wirh a rubber mount, loosen this plate to lower the back of the transmission.

I dont think so, need to know car model, there are slight diffrences în clutch packs due to different torque requirements.

по идее електровентиляторы работают от температурных датчиков ОЖ и кондиционера. может быть еще и темп датчик трансмисии (если автомат).
