Noita Epilogue update is out now. It's one of our biggest updates yet and is also going to be the last major update for Noita. The change list alone is 319 entries long. While this is the last major update for Noita, it's not going to be the End of Everything.
Noita is a magical action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. Fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way through the procedurally generated world using spells you've created yourself. Explore a variety of environments ranging from coal mines to freezing wastelands while delving deeper in search for unknown mysteries.
Pixel-based physics: Every pixel in the world is simulated. Burn, explode or melt anything. Swim in the blood of your foes! I have been one of the patient ones who never played the Beta, and wanted to wait for it to be in the Main release.
Naturally, I've been following the Beta closely. I welcome our new Noita Alien Overlords.

I did bridge boss cheese when I was attempting no hit runs, and eventually stopped for two reasons. Firstly, it was boring, even though OP wands were worth it. Second, I decided that it wouldn't feel like a real achievement. So I'm happy it's no longer an option.
If you want some early OP stuff, going to the wand mart early is actually better and more challenging.

As much as I love this game I have to say this is really the fun remover update: no more 5th wand carry and no more filling flasks using the inv manipulation - I suppose they added the new mimicium liquid to counteract this.
It would be good of them to add more wand and item slots. Considering how many spells and quests there are, 4 is very restricting
@musicaccount3340 there's a neat mod for that,but yeah I agree that it'd be neat if it was there in vanilla.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet... but I came across something quite odd last night while doing "mirrorverse" stuff. Just as the left/right universes seem to be infinite, the up/down mirrorverses are too; if you take the equation he had in the mirrorverse video, and do it multiple times (or not) to get higher or lower numbers, you can jump either one or multiple mirrorverses at a time for some... spectacular ? "results"
Something I encountered was most, not all, of the Holy Mountains were simply gone once I got back to the standard world.
Big jumps both duplicate and mess up world systems. Dupes of anything happen on jumps = or > 5 PW's it seems...
For the Up jump mirror worlds up above, the exact jump you do is around = to some integer math thing or something. Not sure about anything other than just blank copys of the real world tho on upwards or downwards... The whole Kolmi's shadow tho tells us a lot about how these worlds function compared to the real one

The update is MASSIVE
Without exploits Noite goes from really really hard but possible with good RNG to just flat out Impossible for someone like me who can't get better at the game. I've played the game for like 200 hours (incositantly) and I'm no better now then I was at hour 50 and I highly doubt I'd get substantially better if I played for another 10000 hours.
I got into bridge boss cheese, but eventually stopped when I got a bit more savvy. Glad it's gone
I think the point of the hishi triangle potion is that they are not refillable

Completely agree with your opinion on the exploits. Especially bridge boss. If it was a fun and challenging strategy that required more knowledge, skill, resources, and/or setup, I would probably feel differently about them fixing it, but the barrier to entry for this strategy was abhorrently low. Anyone and their grandmother could do this strategy, and it just ruined the pacing of the game. The amount of time it took bridge boss to off himself due to his confused AI was absurdly long to the point of being mind-numbingly boring. On top of that, people would ALWAYS pressure streamers to do it, which is even worse for a stream because of how boring and time-consuming it is lol.
I'm less passionate about the chest rain or perk-duping exploits, but I'm still glad they've been nerfed👍

Pretty sure they made it spawn shopkeeper but I could be wrong

@@KaBOOMochka I'm pretty sure one of the beta patches for duping at the perk altar is the stacking chance of the poly becoming permanent. The first time you dupe may be reliable, but every attempt after that has a higher and higher chance of screwing your run over.
You can still do the duplication, but polymorphing yourself near the altar now spawns a buffed Stevari. Also, if you do it in a parallel world, there's a 50% chance the polymorph becomes permanent.

Also i am happy they got rid of exploits especially 5 wanding and the one I discovered which was alt tab wand stacking.
They were funny but seriously damaged the game experience if someone used it.
So idk how this happened, but the first time I ever realized you couldn’t remove things from your bar was only a couple weeks ago during my first God run. I was understandably pissed. After that run I immediately decided to swap over to the beta branch. How liberating it was to read that patch note.
