Spark trigger is truly one of the bois. Being able to cast a spell package far away from you makes damn near every spell in the game useful. Wanna pop the Master no effort? Sea/circle of acid on spark trigger. Not feeling creative and just want to rapid fire 200 damage per hit? Big multicast with lots of chainsaw or explosive blasts on spark trigger. Want literally any big damage but dangerous spell to shred a boss? Spark trigger has you covered. Spark trigger is bois

Wand refresh is totally complicated tier considering its interactions with the letters and divide by sometimes bypassing your storage :\ I have not lost a run to this what you talkin about Although I suppose the letters and divide bys themselves are in complicated tier so that’s where the funkiness is coming from not wand refresh itself.

Delayed cast has some unique uses IMO. If you want a static wisp that repeatedly casts something (like an add trigger Matosade), you need delayed cast to delay the pollen on the trigger. If you want a larpa'd explosive box to detonate itself after making not quite enough copies to lag the game out, add timer then delayed cast an explosion.

@@RedRiotRoss Oh that's cool, it acts like a teleport bolt if you don't have tele! I didn't even realise it would move on its own like that. Also I feel like the summon fly spells should be at least in the 'exists' category. Yeah the cast delay and recharge are bad, but they're only 60 mana, unlimited, they last for a decent time, and they have built-in boomerang and short-range homing, so with contact damage or other damage ups they're pretty good. You can also dig with them with matter eater if there's no enemies nearby. Edit: Oh and you can put freeze charge on them and they one-hit enemies that are susceptible to freeze melee.
