Thanks for posting 🎉. So grateful for Sound Tribe. Perfect soundtrack for my life.
I still get chills listening to this....but seeing this live was unreal
This will always be the song that turned my head at a friends house. The rest is history. 1:35 on just does it for me.
I was lucky enough to be there. One of the best Vibes ever!
Heck ya🎉🎉🎉
Best show of all time for them. Miss Murphy
They’re better with Alana..
Amazing drums give me more
Learn something everyday. First listening of STS9.
Aware guys.... considerate of each other.
Fitting couple of songs.... new guys meet your roots :-)
I'm sure it is safe to say that tribe is my favorite band
Me too🎉
This show was great. We were deep in it. DEEPER!!!
Thank You so much for posting this.
very entertaining group of musicians
what an amazing video!
Going to see these guys first time in about 3 weeks. cant wait
What did you think about the concert? Never heard of these guys until last weekend. :) Would love your feedback. Thanks!
I went to vibes from 2008 till 2018 goodtimes it changed though way better in the earlier years
yea the guy who mixed this is fucking amazing. true master at his craft as well as the musicians
You need better ears, it’s all mids I can’t hear any bass
Jam Scene > Any Scene
hands down. hands thrown.
Other scenes don't really compare, because jam bands play a different show every night.
Tons of non-"jam bands" play different shows every night. Wake up from your psychedelic coma.
Don't get so high horsed on such a repetitive musical genre. How many other "scenes" you gone deep into? How old are you? Psychedelics ruin judgement, and make everything sound better.
You're being pretty judgmental here pal. I believe what he is getting at is that you could see a jam band play the exact same set of songs and have it be completely different. It never sounds like they're just playing the same songs off the record. Improv is what makes the jam so great.
Good band........listenable.......
.
AWESOME SONG!
This was my first STS9 show and my first time hearing them, Began my interest into jamtronic. Its a shame Murphy left. glad i got to see them while i could. Lets see what is it come!
Murph is nothing compared to alana
yeah it really wasn't a shame that murph left.
alanas presence on stage is wayyy more apparent than murph.
Wrong. Murph needed to go. Band got stake with him. They are getting back to that old school vibe with Alana.
AriDillProductions I know you wrote this a while ago, but honestly Alana is a better bass player and they’ve only gotten better...
Used to watch these guys play house parties in Atlanta and Athens late nineties, Missoula barn burner was pretty tight too
The glory days of America. I wish we could to back to those simpler times.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh amazing
yes thank you!
SICK!
Love this shit need a show bad jonsing
this was an epic show first time electro played on main stage ever in the history of vibes!!
Put together.
they fucking brought it for this one
Reminds me of umphrey's mcgee. I look forward to seeing them
Its the band shell, one thing Vibes has over a lot of festivals is the sound, its amazing.
This is just a soundboard recording it has nothing to do with the actual sound inside the venue also the sound on the stages needs to be powerful and loud because The ocean breeze can carry It out to sea or into land and away from the crowd very easily
wow!
Phipps at :59 seconds... "damn, we're good"
The playback sounds absolutely amazing for a live show, anyone know who set it up? I'd love to read some of their work if they have any!
Lol l lol
WOOOW
Was this the year the storm blew waves up over the rocks?
god he can kick a beat!
fucking awesome time that night!
This song is so juicy
5:57 the murph stance!
tribe aint bad
Hope ya'll check these guys out at Summer Camp Music Festival!! Best in the Midwest for sure.
always wondered if their version of what is love is the same disco song from the Roxbury guys SNL skit and oscar-winning feature film?
nope, STS9 is covering the "Deee-lite - What is love?"
czcams.com/video/zD71055315c/video.html
Who is the bassist
What is love choice of 1 out of 2 billion
Where Holly go....
i have seen several really awful tribe shows but this looks pretty damn good. might have to check em out again
JJ best tribe show ive seen live
Be kind.
not exactly "into" but still amazing
Matt Riggs lol
❤️ this
Awesomeness
Nah. Stay away and let us fans have the the tickets and dance room
In Lake'ch, I hope
and they dont play a wrong note its ridiculous.
#church ut a hell of a lot cleaner
Grovey beats rythum seems collective
if you want real tribe go and listen to stuff from 2003-2007/08. Before the explosion of electric jambands. theirs was a much more organic sound and feel to their music back then! just like Lotus..go back to 2002-2006/07. The music(from these bands) just had a different feel! and yes everything evolves.....
Yes
What the hell happened to murph's head
seriously though, is that from his bout with cancer or something?
+Jason Steinberg yes
+Jason Steinberg cancer and the fact that hes had a bad heroin problem in the past
remember when jam bands were very exciting for musicians? and not just dance beats with " trippy" sounds ? i mean is this really how far we've come since the 60's?
No i dont remember
ok boomer
I'm not even a big sts9 fan but are you seriously hating on this?
But they kept it real and used no laptops!!
this is the only thing of theirs i have heard that doesn't completely suck
Yikes stripes
Where's my 'e' and my glow sticks?...
TO GIVE IT A DEAD NAME IS RETADED
I'm sorry, but their Shakedown is NOT Cool Man...
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion man.
Neither is your grammar.
learn to be a better hippie. didn't you watch the big lebowski and half baked? that should teach you everything you need to know.
Geez play a little bit of the melody. I only played the chords of songs when I was in 8th grade playing in retirement homes.
This is god awful I feel like I'm playing Super Mario Brothers with the volume all the way up... And that "Shakedown" with the synth... wtf?
what?! you can't feel your mind expanding from this? i mean it's definitely not derivative dance beats loosely coupled with once original music that's objectively more creative...
Nahhhhh
wtf? did you leave your ears somewhere!?
You forgot your crystals brah...
Love shakedown
