  • In this two minute tutorial, I show you my workflow for editing milky way images. From Lightroom to the Nik Collection, watch as I transform an unedited milky way image into something spectacular. Editing milky way images is not as hard as it sounds, and even in two minutes, you can create something truly special using only two programs and some basic techniques.

    Hey guys. Thanks for watching the video. By popular request, my next video will be on smartphone photography, and I hope to make a series on this genre as well. Let me know what you think of this and if you have any other ideas for future videos. What do you guys want to see or want to change about the channel? I would love to hear your feedback.

    Love this video! Other CZcamsrs do 20min+ videos about things like that but yours is so precise and straight to the point. More videos should be like that.
    Now i just need to shoot a picture of the milky way...

    How do you reset the automatic sharpening from lightroom?

    • @Apalapse
      @Apalapse  Před 5 lety

      There should be a set of sliders with the heading "sharpening." If you adjust the amount down to 0, you have reset the automatic sharpening Lightroom applies to all images.

    What about noise reduction? Don’t you apply it?

    • @Apalapse
      @Apalapse  Před 5 lety

      I apply it in Nik Dfine. Nik Dfine does a much better job than LR at removing noise from photos, so there's no point doing it in LR.
