James Martin, S.J., is a Jesuit priest, editor at large of America magazine and author of many books including: Building a Bridge: How the Catholic Church and the LGBT Community Can Enter into a Relationship of Respect, Compassion, and Sensitivity (Harper Collins, 2017). He Holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Weston Jesuit School of Theology, now Boston College School of Theology and Ministry.
