It means nothing if you are not going to prosecute open drug use and trespassing.
Its all talk. RTD allowed open drug use on 4/19 on the 15 L like it was the thing to do! Had some dope addicts smoking fentynol and when the passengers alerted the driver, the driver asked the dope addicts if they were doing drugs. When they replied no, the driver was satisfied with the drug addicts answer, allowed them to stay on the bus, then, made everyone who DID ACTUALLY PAY have to sit there and ride the bus with dope addicts and a dopey smurf bus driver! RTD SUCKS!
Operators can’t do anything about drug addicts! They’re now behind a plexiglass shield for a reason.
This is a good time for more police officers 👮 👮♂️ to serve and protect its citizens as the weather gets warmer
What RTD really needs is to have officers ON TRAINS AND BUSES. The commuter rail lines have them and I’ve heard no complaints about safety there.

I use RTD fairly often and not once was an aggressor a migrant. The migrant topic is a problem, but not this problem.

Rtd had security guards, the new chief has hired actual police . Give the new chief and CEO a chance to fix the problem. Cops have to be hired, then trained before things can change. It’s not an overnight fix .
