Just to let you know, the videos have been great lately. Its all we wanted to see, i.e just more of whats going on. Great to see some work, hear some stories. 👌
WOW!!! Absolutely Gorgeous! l still have a trophy hand made by Seth from the Mid-State Rod Run 1972 Proudly on display in my living room! Good to see he's still active! 👍
That looks absolutely stunning. As a car builder myself, working on a much smaller scale than what we see here, from my home garage, I can honestly say that you were an inspiration to my own builds. I loved the overhaulin series and top quality builds. It would be an amazing moment to have a sit down chat with one of my heroes. Unfortunately I live many miles away in the UK but if I was ever to visit America, visiting your shop would be top of my agenda. Thanks for the inspiration chip 👍
That is one exceptional hotrod. And Seth is an exceptional racer for using it in anger in competition. Nice understated flex with the 300mph club hat. I'm sure you earn tose ones.
Absolutely love it. The stories are awesome. Would love to see Chip take us for a walk down memory lane. Maybe show us where his dads shop was, where he rode bicycles as a kid, home he grew up in, etc. I love history like that. Especially automotive icons like his father and himself.
Maestro what you did with the scallops tickled my brain a bit ! I Love the hidden in plain sight thoughts/idea play on design - but still flowing -almost missed at first glance !!!! Thank You for sharing the process
lol! I’m a Autobody painter and I too like Chip like to use my hand as a tack rag. It’s amazing what you can train your hand to feel. This technique does not totally eliminate the need for a tack rag, however it does have its uses.
The attention to detail is extraordinary, watching Chip Foose work at his craft, feels like if you got to observe Michaelangelo or DaVinci creating one their masterpieces. We don’t realize how fortunate we are to get to observe this level of passion and creativity and getting to see the finished work of art, yes that is what it feels similar as an spectator of his incredible talents, especially just in the subtle details just in the creating the lettering for Mr Hammond’s name on the cowl. Using the combination of fonts, truly inspirational!
Art for sure, goes in the house or the office. Way too nice for the track. Seth (with a Sam 'S') is one lucky guy. One more member of the family. Superb.
AHHH the good old days in old town California GOLETA, a true hot bed of design and automotive anything and a lot of aircraft stuff.Sam Foose Project Design. At the Santa Barbara airport in Goleta,
Love the heritage stories, "chain of custody"--ideas passed from neighboring boat shop to neighboring car shop--standing on the shoulders of our predecessors. Generational "apprenticeship" is almost lost on our world--to our discredit and great loss of perspective.🤔
The hot rod community to me, is the best community a guy could be apart of. Is there competition? Of course. Will competitor's help each other out when one needs a helping hand? They will sacrifice their own time away from family, to help a fellow hot rodder without asking for a dime
I told everyone years ago when overhauling was on years ago if you ever get this for me, just tell Chip that I like power and my color is Black Cherry metal flake everything else is up to him.

Gold wheels to finish it off. Very nice colors!

Chip's understanding of color choices is second to none.

I would like to hear the story of changing the lettering.
