Even the families needs rehabilitation because they’re also traumatized. Tht lil boy you knew is no longer the ones coming bk to you. So the families needs some of intervention to know how to accept or coop with the act their their child(ren) was once a child soldier. This is hard on both ends

What happened in Liberia was very tragic. Taylor gave little children an AK47 and turned them loose on their own people. It was a terrible thing and many people died. I have friends that lived there during the war and I went back with them after the war. I love the Liberian people, I keep hoping to go back one day soon. God save you Liberia. It is nice to hear their special dialect of English again. Liberia Liberia

My cousins consider themselves Nigerian first before American. They are not so proud of their American nationality compared to how happy they are being Nigerians. They just love Africa that much. Just like me, I'm only American by nationality but I'm a full blooded Nigerian(mom and dad). I say I'm Nigerian whenever I'm asked of my nationality and I'll fight anyone trying to deny me of my Nigeria heritage cause I speak pijin English and Yoruba fluently. So yea Nigerian I am.

The freedom I have in Nigeria is too much. We play soccer in the rain and smoke weed on Lekki beach or by a river side in Port Harcourt whenever we go there. The reason I'm not into the American way is cause I'm too used to Nigeria not cause I don't like the USA but cause Naturally, I want the world to see me as a Nigerian. Sometimes I wear Ofi to work with bead necklaces all around my neck. Even though I'll become the laughing stock in my office, some secretly ask me to help them get one. 9ja!!

Life is so hard for many people. It is sad. Everyone has a right to be happy. Most grief is caused by religion. Some day people will be educated and there will be no more religion. Then maybe we will all live in peace and harmony. Of course, that is a long way off. To educate all people's is a huge undertaking. But someday it will be. Good luck to all these children. I do so want them to be happy. Children are not supposed to be unhappy of afraid.

After reading the comments on this issue one thing has become very clear, no one knows what is going on in africa. So the first thing that we do is talk about how it is each races fault. Blacks dont have the capacity to run there own country, yet we see barack obama about to run US. Whites would be no where without blacks, yet they are still prosperous. We worry to much about colour and not about the fact that we are people, that we are human. You have all forgotten this is about the children.

yes ur right it is the same..the only difference is we dont say "to the united state of america" we say " to the republic of liberia" and we dont say under God either..it sounds the sam because our country was form by FREED african american slaves that decied to return to africa in 1822 so we kinda have alot in common with yall in a weird way.....lmao..that should clear up this confusion..
