I am a home theatre guy, have had kef, B&w, svs, klipsch, elac, over the years and settled on M&k speakers in a dedicated theatre room. Like to think I know what good speakers sound like. Bought a Sonos beam, 2 Sonos 1’s and a Sonos sub for my living room during the Black Friday sales and got to say I am very very impressed with the sound, for most people that don’t have the space or wife that wants lots of amps and input source all over a room I would say the Sonos is a fantastic option to get you very good sound. Does it sound better than my dedicated room with equipment that costs 10 times more, no, but it gets you close enough at a fraction of the cost, and I honestly don’t feel I am missing anything on the Sonos. Other benefits Sonos stops you going down the upgrade rabbit hole of better amps, Source inputs etc etc. I could happily live with just the Sonos system
My son has the same system as you in his bedroom with an lg Oled TV, streaming films in Dolby vision with Dolby Atmos surround sound its very impressive, great software is just as important as great hardware in a system, a bit like photography the lattest mobile phones while not having as good a Hardwear as a good carmera they can still take great photos due to the vast amount of money developing the software, 99 % of people are more than happy with the results give the convergence. The high end sound systems in luxury cars have used this for a while now using DSP ( Digital sound processing ) to overcome the shortcoming in cheaper speakers that still good good with clever real time software processing and keep the costs down, Sanos stopped supporting earlier hardware as the processing power of the chips could not support the latest software ( a PR desaster how they handled it imo )
My problem with Sonos is that, at least in the past, their actual audio quality was nowhere near the level of their prices. Even a pair of good PC Speakers (HK Soundsticks II) sounded WAY better than the Sonos 5 back then. Connect a Chromecast Audio to it and you have a good kitchen radio.
If you want something even better, get a pair of good Passive Speakers (Elac UB52, KEF Q150 or Q350) with a simple class D amp (SMSL or similar) with a Chromecast Audio, and you have a good system again.
If you want something really great, buy a pair of active Stereo Monitors (like the Nubert NuPro series) and play that with a Chromecast Audio.
All of these options are cheaper than the Sonos, and WAY better...🤷♂️
@@rolandrohde I’m not sure if that’s true, and if all those speakers sound way better.. u sure the HK sound better then Sonos Five ? Have u heard the Five true played and loudness off ?
I’ve had both types of systems, and no doubt, a pair of nice loudspeakers and proper power can make Sonos simply sound, not as good. But the magic of the app, Trueplay, and the listening simplicity is what lead to me selling my bigger system and sticking with a Sonos-only system. It’s magical.
This is precisely why SONOS products have slowly expanded into more and more parts of our home. 15 years ago I ripped all our CDs and to a NAS and tried to stream through Squeezebox and just continually had problems with connections, updates, etc. Then I bought a SONOS Connect and I have never had an issue. It can always find my NAS music, it connects to dozens of streaming services seamlessly, has never dropped, cut out or crashed. And, the products sound...decent. No, probably even "very good." We have one room with excellent speakers and amp connected to a turntable and DAC for playing from phone or computer and we use that for critical listening. But most of the time the SONOS in the living room or the kitchen or the bedroom or the porch works just fine. And my listening experience is never ruined by 20+ minutes of troubleshooting to figure out why I can't access my music like it used to be with that Squeezebox.
*Thank You* I bought a Sonos5 pair based on this review, and have been loving them. I’m primarily using Tidal as my music source. I live in an apartment and really appreciate that it takes up little space. The true play also makes a big difference in my space.
Being an apartment dweller I also have a good set of headphones with dongle DAC for times when I want volume or mqa fidelity.
The convenience of tidal connect on Sonos is fantastic.
Comments!! Cheers Darko for keeping me sane and entertained over the last year. Keep it up!
Love the honest feed back and comparison. I’m about to add the 5s to my Sonos network, but I’m also tempted to look at the KEF’s too now. Choices! I’m a big fan of your work thank you.👍
Hi, really nice review. I tested a pair of Sonos fives recently and I just want to add one I think crucial point regarding the aux / jack input latency. The default max latency is settable via the Sonos App, and the default is 2 seconds. I guess this is what you had when you experienced unwatchable level of the delay. BUT - the max delay can be set to a lower setting , with 75ms being the lowest. This is what I set when I was testing movie watching with the Sonos Fives, and there was no noticeable delay, it was totally fine.
Ditto. Not addressing the latency setting on the Fives is a big miss.
I run mine with my turntable and lowering the latency gives me a completely useable experience.
Gidday from New Zealand Johnny D! Super review. You and your reviews are slowly dragging me back to a better appreciation of top end hi fi. I am now an avid listener. Many thanks. AL
Great review. I really appreciate your objective take on these speakers. As you stated, many audiophiles brush aside Sonos before even giving them a fair shot.
Yay, comments are back!! ❤️
Love your work !!
Great balanced review. We have directed a few customers to this video as they believe the Sonos app on Android to be unusable due to reviews they have read on the App Store. We can see you tested the system using android and had a great experience the same as we have done in our vast testing. Very strange where these reviews are coming from.
Thanks for the review. I really appreciate your opinion on what each speaker performs best on specific music. Just subscribed to your channel 👍🏼
Would love a companion between the Sonos Amp and Powernode 2i please
Your mic/audio is so good.
Great video, thank you very much for being so open minded ! It was a pleasure to watch your work
Hi John, I was looking for a new speaker set and came across your review after dozens of other channels. But your video helped me make a decision unlike no other. Thanks to your exquisite music taste that I can appreciate and find much in common. Although I listen to many different generes, the dub techno occupies my playlists roughly 80% of the time. Hence, I finally know which speakers will do the best job for me. Thank you so much.
I’m also a fan of Basic Channel (and Hardfloor, sort of). It’s great Darko listens to music the hifi people don’t usually listen to. I really appreciate this.
As a Sonos veteran, i completely agree with this review is so factual thanks , liked and subscribed!
Fantastic, as always.
Got a pair of KEF LS50s and a Cambridge CXN v2 in the living room which is great for sitting and getting really into the music. But for most days there are 2 Sonos speakers upstairs (a one and a move), a Five in the living room, a one in the kitchen and another one in conservatory and they're just brilliant for around the house audio, the app really is absolutely lightyears ahead of anything else
Great & timely review. I had a choice for my “music room” zone which I only use to stream my turntable to other rooms Sonos systems. Buy a dedicated KEF for the music room or buy a new (unused) Play 5 Gen 2 at second hand prices and stereo pair it with my existing Play 5. Pleased to say that I elected to stay with Sonos for now as there obviously isn’t a great difference between the two.
Your attitude is honest and on point John. Much respect!👍
Just found this channel. Love it 😀
This video is simply brilliant. Fantastic presenting style, not to mention, your summary was really not what I expected.
Just goes to show that you can't just a book(shelf speaker) by its cover. 😊
I really valule your outlook keep it up!
I totally agree about the software app is just if not more important than the hardware. Devialet needs to have everyone involved with their software experience watch this video.
Another great vid. What does a stereo pair sound like in horizontal orientation? I hear the DSP does some tricks depending on orientation.
I had the same problem with the analog line in for TV and computer video watching on the Play 5’s, but there is a setting to fix that latency. When you have the analog line in on a single or pair of Play 5’s, go to Settings -> System -> choose your room -> Line In -> Audio Delay > set it to Low (75 ms). It’s definitely a bit buried, but the setting is there and you can barely notice the 75 ms delay. I watch tv and CZcams from pc all the time now. May warrant a quick review edit as this is a big selling point for some people. Also, I am not sure why the latency is set so high by default... perhaps because you can broadcast that analog line in signal to your other Sonos rooms and the latency helps with that if your network is slow? Thanks for the review. I absolutely love my Kef R11s so much that I wanted to see this comparison as I was contemplating switching from Play 5s to LSX.
12:18 a few years ago i would've disagreed whole-heartedly but having a devialet phantom for 3 years completely changed my mind, i completely agree
Great video.
Is there any recommendation for speakers that are similar to Sonos Five but do not have the delay issue? I know that Bluesound has the same issue.
Denon Home series - if you use one speaker it is possible to have no delay. Is there any alternative, cheaper than KEF LSX?
I've been using a pair of Sonos 5 with s turntable into the line in for over a year and the delay isn't an issue at all. I agree that it would be for any video.
There is no delay for me at all. I adjusted the delay settings and it’s perfect
Agreed on all fronts. I know the Sonos fronts. UXD can be important. I know the Sonos folks in Cambridge, MA. That area has a world-class pedigree for tech innovation. I worked (and lived) there for a long time in software myself. I get it. It's why I like Roon and am willing to pay for it, at least for now; it's a lovely piece of design. I've also done a deep-dive exploring DIY streaming and run a piCorePlayer setup. PCP mostly works well and it's essentially free, but is a long way from the Roon user experience.
I picked up a set of LSXs to try when KEF ran a big sale on them last fall. I really like them. I love the design esthetic and they sound great. The apps to control and stream to them are functional enough, but don't offer an extraordinary user experience.
I went from kef lsx with a rel sub to sonos beam with ikea symfonisk surround. Yes, kef lsx plays better music. However, the ease of use, the software and quality with sonos is just a different league. It’s also a lot better for movies as it’s set up for surround. The room calibration is also very good. Very pleased with my change.
I can absolute agree. I come from Sonos (from the early years), later Devialet Phantom, for some weeks Kef LSX and LS50 I and II. In terms of functionality and user experience Sonos is unbeatable. Other manufacturers software has no chance. I’m streaming for many years with different systems. If you want to have fun, use Sonos, Tidal Connect or Spotify Connect, no UPNP Software and even ROON is not the best solution for streaming. For example ROON isn’t able to play with Airplay 2 with a no of devices - against their advertising. Today I am using high end speakers with a high end amp and a pair of Phantoms Gold and Sonos speakers. But the be honest - for the money the Sonos speakers are worth every penny.
Sonos vs Phantom vs KEF, which did you prefer sound wise if you could ignore the app and any other features?
Sonos 5 vs LS50, what's your opinion sound-quaility only?
Very adequat reviews , love this
I agree with you completely, like I got a pair of sonus 5's for nearfield and they sounded too big but the lsx was perfect and with a sub I think the lsx could out perform many speakers above its price range
I only have a sonos one, but for what it is, it's great. Also i am a big fan of KEF as well, i have a Q350 on a Sonos AMP. I enjoy both very much!
What speaker stands are those?
A year or so ago, I decided to rip out my typically equipped but fairly modest dedicated home cinema room set up because nobody else in the house or visitors knew how to use it and quite frankly, I’m not getting any younger and I was finding that when I wanted to switch to only occasional use sources, I was forgetting the which buttons to press. I decided to go for a Sonos Arc, Sub and 2 Sonos 1 rears. Let me please tell you that I have not looked back. The ease of functionality and operation easily outweighs the sound benefits (I had a 5.2.2 set up)of separates and it never lets me down. I previously had Sonos Spkrs in other rooms and so I was well aware of the use-ability of the app etc. The correlation between sound quality and ease of use is a very valid consideration imo.
To echo what another correspondent had posted; the latency of the Sonos audio can easily be rectified in the app and now when I place the needle on the record (in another room) I hear that contact. It used to annoy the hell out of me until I picked up the tip from another you tuber some months ago after living with it for a couple of years.
Sound-wise how does it compare when you add a sub to the KEF?
Sonos five has airplay 2. If you have a newer Apple TV you can connect with airplay and use your sonos as a tv speaker. No lag at all. You do have to reconnect to airplay every time you turn on Apple TV but it still works
6:53 Deadbeat nice! 👍🏻 Iike that EP too. 😎
I just ordered a five for my kitchen, you can find them open box for a good discount, can’t wait to try them.
I’m looking for a simple streamer/amp/speaker setup - I’m already into Sonos so my starting point would be something like a Sonos Amp and B&W607 - what else should I consider for a similar budget?
Thank you very much for this comparison. Interestingly Sonos sells the Five as a phono bundle with a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB.
Hi John, it is good to get out of "commentsolation"! Very good look on Sonos 5, I like the comparison very much! Only I would love to hear a word or two on build quality of products which I found equaly important.
Little question? What would be best 2 Sonos5 or 1 Sonos Amp driving my Kef Q50
Hi 👋
Which one better Sonos Five or bluesound pulse 2i? & Which one provide more deep bass?
Well said, I been in hifi for more than 30 years, there is no one set up that wins it all ,even for very expensive gears
I use a pair of Sonos 5s with an Apple TV box to watch films, not noticed any latency. Very happy with the result.
Excellent Review. In regards of lips delay, there is an option within the Sonos App that reduces the delay on Lips sync. But its need to be configurated on the app. I use a pair of Sonos Fives with TV with no major problem.
You can do this so the turntable syncs to when the needle drops too 👌
Just one question. What model of eyeglasses that you are wearing? I was looking for something similar and none of my favorite brands had a similar model. PS: buying the KEF LSX even though the LSX II is imminent.
What are the speaker stands for sonos five?
KEF speaker manufacturer first, software came to the party later, and to be fair each iteration is getting better. Sonus came about as a complete package, hardware/software together. KEF will get there on the software and they already make great speakers. I know which I’d prefer
@@jarhead4657 erm, the LS50W 2? New hardware and software, upgraded components to further improve what was an incredible speaker. Did you read my post?
Useful comparison! BTW, a common use for the analog input on the SONOS Play 5 is the output of a PC's desktop audio. You can't hear CZcams, Foobar2000, in browser audio, etc (in other words things that don't stream) on SONOS products, save for that model, the only one with an analog input. A *fantastic* thing to put the Play 5 through its paces is PiL's "Second Edition" album, especially "Bad Baby" and "The Suit." DEEP bass, but also super trebly guitar and electronic noises. I often go straight to those two songs when auditioning gear.
You can stream your PC audio as a radio channel to your Sonos. There's a lag, obviously.
You can broadcast wirelessly to the sonos system through airplay. You can also use another standalone sonos product to connect analog source
Thanks for this review. I have Sonos for soundbars and recently added the KEF Q350 with the Sonos amp. Prime reason is their app. It works so well, and the ability to spread music around the house is really nice as well.
One think you might check under the input settings on the Fives is the delay you mentioned. They hide this pretty well. Settings => System => Room name. Scroll down to line in and tap “audio delay” You can set the input delay between 75, 113, 150, and 2000 ms. The delay is there primarily to give other “rooms” enough time to buffer the audio to compensate for WiFi issues.
what brand are your glasses?
The other part of this comparison that needs to be noted is the ease of expanding into more devices/rooms that sonos gives you. No cables. Expanding to 4 Sonos 5s and a couple of subs for instance can be done in a matter of minutes. Or maybe you want to add one of Sonos’s soundbar offering’s and use the play 5s as rear surrounds. The expansion possibilities and ease of use with Sonos products is a major plus in my books. Then there’s the part where you don’t have to worry about over driving an amplifier while listening to a room full of Sonos speakers, because they’re all stand alone - self powered units.
Hi, can you please give me some information about the "art" on the wall? Is this like a kind of absorber/diffusor?
It is. He talks about them in another video. Forgot which one.
Sonos added HiRes audio from Qobuz, one of the reasons I chose Sonos over Cambridge Audio or Kef for it's sound quality, price and aesthetics.
Thank you very much pairing speakers like that is the future of hifi
The line in delay can be fixed in the Sonos app. It does make me wonder if they pushed that to the forefront due to a lot of reviewers had this issue.
thanks for this video, very helpful for someone who wants to return to better quality audio at home but has not f**king idea what they are doing :)
Will you ever review some nubert speakers? for example the nupro 3000 or 4000 series?
You can change the audio in delay for the Sonos so you can play records right.
I´m interested in a comparison with Bluesound
So am I!
If you go into settings and choose your fives speakers and go to audio delay and put it onto low 75s you should get music playing straight away when you put the needle on the record on your record player and another thing to do is in the settings on your fives section is to put source level on level8 makes a difference.
Great review, thank you. Respect for your way of thinking! Maybe LSX paired with a sub would be a good set up? But that’s a lot of money.
I have the lsx with a jl f112 sub and they sound amazing man, 10/10
@@MootPoot how is the bass standalone with the LSX, specifically in a smaller room?
The kef sounds good but I got the Sonos five because you can adjust the EQ and the trueplay feature is a game changer, it also fill the room better
I might get another one but Im broke right now 😂
Calibre and Drs. Nice one
Interesting I had a pair of KEF LSX for my computer setup, and I think they sound better for near field listening (up-close) better than any other speaker. Frankly for a tad more money I would go for the KEF LS50 Wireless II, better bass and mid-range than Sonos.. I have owned Sonos, and your right Sonos Apps in great, I also like BlueSound. Their are plenty of other music base Apps that are just as good as Sonos, but the one stop shop is very good. I still like KEF's liquid midrange which is hard to beat, debating getting the ARC...
Why don't you reduce down the audio delay in the sonos app? Lowest delay is 75ms. Is that still too long? Lip sync might still be an issue but the Fives are not really intended for TV setups. Is 75ms too long a wait until the vinyl sound kicks in?!
At around 7 minutes you mentioned the soundstage was a bit vague for Sonos. That may actually be the orientation, even before you implement trueplay. If you orient the speakers vertically with the tweeters turned in, you’ll get a very different sound stage vs if you orient them with the tweeters turned out. Check with Peter Pee’s video about pairing 5s to get more details. But the difference is remarkable and goes from being an idea setup for sitting inside a very accurate sound triangle vs having a huge, sweeping sound stage.
If you just wanted “party playback” style sound in a multi-storey, multi zone house, would one Sonos 5 be appropriate, as such?
i ordered my LSX after watching your review last year. i think it lacks lower and base capabilties. i mostly listen to rock, metal and hardcore music so i teamed it up with a Klipsch R-100SW and it's now the best small audio set up i ever heard.
PS: Keep up the great work m8!
yep, pair bookshelf speakers with subs and you'll be done. Of course, there are much cheaper alternatives to LSX, once a sub is in the picture. Though personally, I much prefer a passive speaker + integrated amp combo than an active speaker. I've had the amp section of active speakers die on me twice (ie. no power). On the other hand, standalone amps has never died on me.
@@veritas932 I listen to metal rock and hardcore too. Disappointing to hear the LSX can't hold its own without a subwoofer as I am trying to avoid getting one my desktop listening setup for space reasons. Guess I might wait till the LSX 2 or something else comes along. I don't want Sonos
@@unklecorky2181 I have a pair of LSX and can say it is perfectly fine without a sub. The sub takes it to another level, however only on some kinds of music. There are plenty of music styles that the sub doesn't massively improve the sound. Others like the weekend, it makes a big improvement. Like most things I would say go listen to a pair with your music and see how they go. As desktop listening (how I use them) they provide a great stereo imagine in a sitting position. Rumour has it that LSX 2 are only a few months away so if you like these might be able to pick up soon on discount (can already see a lot of companies discounting to run out) but maybe the LSX 2 will be even better. I know I am keeping an eye out for the LSX 2 as I am hoping they add an HDMI input to them.
@@David-xt5ob Where did you hear about the LSX 2? Trying to decide between buying the LSX on discount at the moment or waiting for the LSX 2
@@David-xt5ob yes, where do you know they'll release the 2nd version?
Cheers!
Where did you get those white stands for the Sonos?
?
So you have to keep them both ? Could there be the subwoofer connected as well to the Sonos ?
There is a sonos sub that can be connected, marks the price up significantly though.
What brand of speaker stands are the Sonos mounted on?
Won't say Darko's wrong per se, but I'm not sure I agree with the comparison. I have both LSX and set of Five's as well, and what I'd note is that LSX's require a sub. The LSX produces a true base tone but its from a single 4.5-inch driver, whereas the Fives have three (!!!) 4-inch drivers -- there's just no way the LSX is going to produce as much sound or depth given that difference. I mean that's 12 total drivers for the Five's and 4 for the LSX....that's going to make a difference. The shining point for the LSX is the clarity, separation and imaging; the Fives produce a lot of sound and that has its place, but the LSX have a clarity and detail that is really impressive and far surpasses any Sonos product. You just hear detail on the KEF's that doesn't come through on the Sonos.
That said, I don't love the value prop of the LSX at the price point. You can get a FAR superior product pairing a set of KEF Q150's to a Sonos Amp and have the best of both worlds...
As a Sonos fan I have long wanted Sonos to make a special powered monitor with either Kef or Elac using the LS50 Wireless or Navis Bookshelf speakers. Would by in a Second.
That would be nice. I'd love something I can easily have guests cast to. I'd choose an IN-5 though as I think it beats the LS50 and Navis value wise.
Wanted to love the KEF LSX but the things that Sonos does so well - integrations, app experience, ease of use were all areas where the LSX caused minor irritation. Those irritations taken individually weren’t bad, but as a whole I just found myself noticing the LSXs too much when I wanted to listen to music. The Five just gets out of the way, sounds awesome, and is good enough for me.
I agree with a lot of comments, the early comment about the delay with using the analogue input on the Sonos Five isn't really warrented as you can lessen this in the app. I have a stereo pair hooked up to my turntable and a CD player (one component into each Five). With the minimal delay set, it works fine and honestly is like using any powered speaker system. Maybe you'd notice even this lower delay with the TV but then these speakers aren't meant for TVs. With a turntable though, they work really well.
Hopefully, you will review Sonus Arc Soundbar. I know it's a soundbar, but I thought it sounded better for the money than Sonus 5 for the music.
Hmm, I was planning to purchase an arc until I actually listened to it. Now going to get a beam and a 5. The 5 alone sounded better than the arc in my opinion. Much better low end.
would love to hear your take on the Ruark MR1's
I find Sonos a great product and by far the best option for extra setup next to your other main system which can play HI-RES and MQA files. So on my bedroom a set off Sonos One in stereo pair sound just amazing and a mobile Sonos Move for around house or garden. And don’t forget the Sonos Roam that’s enough for bathroom and on the go music. Sonos is also voice assistant capable. But again I don’t see this system become my Dolby Atmos setup, prefer wired systeem and speakers who are not bound to future support from the makes like Sonos can be end of life use after several years. So low invest in Sonos is perfect or sell them on time ;)
Great review as always. Also, didn’t hear anything about the size difference between the speakers. Sonos looks twice as big as the LSX for a similar price.
@@jarhead4657 he was talking about the sound not the dimensions of the speaker.
You know what? I was totally into the KEF LSX (budgetwise, audiowise, and loved your video about them). I saw this video before I stepped into the shop where my son is working. I was even still in the running to maybe replacing my old Marantz amp (30y). And suddenly heard the music through a Five and a Move. I couldn’t believe what I heard. So, I got a good price, and couldn’t resist after hearing DJ Hell’s “Car Car Car” (oh yes I dig your music selection, thank you for that) through those Fives. So, no KEF’s after all, but two stereo paired Sonos Fives in the house. (Small note: I watched this video again IN the shop before buying them. Thank you for this video!)
had some lsx in our bedroom but selling them - replaced with HomePod mini stereo pair - far more useable, can talk to them when im lonely - sound good enough - and they react very quickly when receiving an input whereas the lsx can take over a minute to wake up...
Having the lsx, stereo homepods and a HomePod mini. I have to say this is certainly a functionality over sound choice, totally valid if it’s your thing. The lsx destroys the HomePod minis in any sound test, app is trash but these aren’t similar products.
What are the Sonos speaker stands
quick info you can change the delay settings in the sonos app
For the price point - i wasn’t impressed with the KEF’s. Soundstage was really good but not rich in sound. Went with the fives and am totally happy with them and saved some money as well.
Also the latency is can be adjusted in the app. No delay whatsoever with my Technics turntable.
For those reading … you can adjust the EQ (treble and bass) as well.
I love Momus too!
Probably a really unpopular request but i really like your videos (even though i dont understand half the things you say lol) but i would love your thoughts on a more lower end active streaming speaker streo setup, maybe something with a budget around £500... Be very interesting to see how good sound you could get with an active streaming speaker with a modest budget for the non audio experts etc lol
If you want a tight soundstage you have the Fives upside down on the video.
I have never auditioned the KEF LSX in my own home, but it would be hard pressed to top the Sonos 5 in terms of bass and dynamics. The Sonos 5 just has a very fun, punchy sound with a lot of bass. I did briefly have a set of Triangle Elara speakers and while they sounded a bit more refined, a SINGLE Sonos 5 had more bass and slam than both Elara speakers put together. I immediately sent them back and kept the Sonos 5. If you listen to mainly rock, rap or electronic music, the Sonos 5 is a no brainer.
You can also use an ipad for trueplay. Any ios device
Big Sonos fan here, also a hifi enthusiast
I am a big fan of your work, thank you for sharing your passion and educating us. I just got two Sonos Five, can you share the name and model of the stands you are using please?
Did you ever figure out what they were?
Love these comparison tests between a more ‘mainstream’ or cheaper product versus more ‘high end’ or expensive products.
a pair of sonos 5 is $1k, a pair of kef lsx is $1250. basically in the same price category.
Would be interested to hear your views now there is the lsx ii? Better app with more features to tailor the sound.
