- Hey beautiful people ! Welcome to my first CZcams video! I will be sharing faith/motivational talks, and lifestyle videos on my channel. I felt led to share my testimony on how God changed my appearance throughout the years and how He has helped me on my modesty journey. Yess I watched a documentary on how other nations pray to their gods and offer makeup/ hair/ and nail salon products as a sacrifice to their gods and then offer their services to us… they won’t admit it verbatim but the process it goes through is pretty obvious that’s what they’re doing .
That's how God changed me..I burnt all my worldly clotheing.. now No makeup,No trousers n even I got rid of TikTok n Facebook too.its not crazy..but with holy spirit in you,u can change!!!

Just recently I heard the Lord tell me to burn all of my pants.
Just recently I heard the Lord tell me to burn all my pants and get rid of my jewelry and stop wearing makeup. I use to be one that just had to get my nails done. I had to color my hair but the Holy Spirit has been changing me from the inside out and I’m so grateful for it. Every time I asked the Lord why, He responded with one word-vanity. I don’t condemn anyone that does, but I am so grateful that I’m not alone. That there are other women in which God is speaking to to stripe themselves from anything that was taking away His glory regarding our temple.
This is the story of my life . Initially I was so confused but somehow am getting use to it. No make up, no weaves and braid, no jewelries etc.
I have to glorify God even in my dressing. May his name be praised
Hello! I am a teen girl and have recently learned about alot of sins I may be committing. Such as wearing makeup, jewelry, mixed fiber clothing, fake nails, nail polish, braids and more. This is really overwhelming for me because all I want to do is get closer to God. And with mixed fiber clothing its not like I can just get rid of all my clothes??? I feel like im overthinking everything i do. Can you give me some advice? Thank u so much love!! 💕

Been ready for a while now to change my wardrobe. I left make up and hair extensions a while ago. I am also now growing my natural hair. The journey has been great. Glory to God!!!!!

Sis thank you so much. I’m on this self love journey and part of that is to stop wearing jeans, and clingy clothes, because I feel like men shouldn’t see all my curves and all that. I have been using the cerave skin care line, and combined with healthy food and plenty of water, and exercise, my skin is flawless and i am so beautiful inside and out. I have gotten rid of my tight jeans, and wearing my dresses and skirts. I am the most beautiful woman in the world now!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I don’t know what modesty clothes you’re looking for but I don’t want to be frumpy ugly looking I just get clothes is fitting and comfortable for me so I don’t know what modesty clothes you’re talking about Don’t be so prissy about it I don’t agree woman can’t show there skin and I love being sexy some time to times so I don’t agree with being modest don’t push it on everyone else

I still wear flowy dress pants sometimes but yay I'm so glad I'm more feminine and modest finally now at 34. ❤
I changed my appearance to honor god as well . Got back into my natural hair color , embraced my natural beauty ,only natural make up look , removed my face piercings , no longer wear tank tops , only shirts that cover my shoulders , I try not to wear pants , or if I do , I will usually wear them with a dress/ long shirt on top , only synthetic hair extentions , not human hair, and that only because I'm growing my natural hair long. Heels I do not wear , I think they draw too much attention , fake nails/ lashes I do not do. Also I follow the , tight and long , short and loose rule fir all the dresses . I try my best

Human hair extentions are usually made from third world countries like India and that same hair is being collected unethically, by forcefully cutting the hair off from women . There is a huge business, currently, of human hair extensions and wigs , who take advantage of these poor women and not only ... Another reason Christian women should not wear human hair , is because it may have been used in pagan practices, as it is very common for practitioners of such beliefs, to offer their hair in rituals and often to cast spells ! When we wear hair that has been used in this type of practices, we perpetuate the existence of the spirits to whom the spells have been fulfilled. The bible says to embrace our true self and to not intentionally hide it to persue an appearance ideal ... What we wear , what we feed ourselves should also be holy and sanctified by the grace of god .

God is transforming me as well. I'm really petite. I'm about 5'1 and maybe 120lbs. Im almost 40 and I look about 19. So when I started being an adult I equated wearing sexy clothes to prove to ppl and myself that I'm grown or older than I appear. I pretty much kept this mind set but nowadays I want to have a more mature look without being sexy or half dressed.
Thank God who is busy with me right now we are beautiful by his own Glory his light shine up on us and every body who really appreciate the really Beaty turns heads when they pass us🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This my story too, walked out of 8 years relationship and stop the work I was doing because God didn't like it,and throw all my stuff away,now am married to a prophet, thank you Jesus.

Our fellowship with God however shouldn’t be about “church doctrine”…it should be about God and what He’s putting on our hearts. If you feel condemned because you’re not practicing “church doctrines”, then you’re in the wrong place. Because what this doctrines do is to cause fear and condemnation and in the end ceases one from hearing the true voice of God. You tend to do what the “church is saying” rather than what God is. In all, let’s seek the voice of God. Shalom 🙏🏾

Thank you for your input. I don’t believe fellowship with God is only about doctrine but I also can’t deny the fact that certain doctrines does help people change for the better (when it aligns with scripture). For example, learning how to dress modestly and appreciating my natural beauty has helped me turn away from revealing my body and has helped me love myself more. I never felt condemned nor did they ever condemn anyone to hell. I think sometimes when people hear the word “doctrine “they think its a bad thing or you’re being condemned or its not about God. We have free will so it’s up to the individual to decide if they want to follow it. What He puts on our hearts and scripture are important and my advice is to always make sure what your being taught is aligned with the Word. The doctrine was backed up with scripture and I would never follow a doctrine if it doesn’t align with the Word of God. In addition to the church’s doctrine, I also had my own personal convictions which I shared in the video. I’m not condemning anyone who’s modesty journey isn’t the same as mine, just sharing my own journey. Everyones walk will look different. God Bless and thank you for watching.
@@virtuousval07 I’m glad. I have very similar story to yours. The only difference is, I had my own revelations and still praying to God on wah church to go. I have stopped going to the gym although I exercise at home once in a while. I just felt I don’t need to be in that environment with wah I used to wear anymore(also deleted all social media accounts). All these from 3years ago. It was tough from start but God’s grace makes us sour above sin. May God bless you
This is true message from the Lord Jesus Christ not church doctrine. God created you according to his will. Change your hair or putting on makeup simple means God didn't create you well. Action speaks . Genesis 1:31 all what God is good and perfect to God. If you are God's daughter you will look at yourself from God's perspective not worldly perspective

When you have the TRUTH serving GOD will become easy. You will seek the things you did not understand to be bad just to suffer losing them to show your love to God because the TRUTH will reveal how evil you have been to God.
You look far more attractive as you are now. I wish more girls would emulate your natural look.
Always make decisions with God align everything with the Word and Prayer because God always knows and wants what is best 😊❤

Refreshing to see true modesty many videos on modesty show women painted up , wild hair, tight long dress , hooker heels ( they got that name for a reason) that’s NOT modesty. God bless you, you truly look like a godly woman ❤
There are people that associate those shoes with the Jezebel spirit.
This was and still is a challenging transition for me, especially makeup. I wore makeup everyday for 20 yrs. I’m only recently beginning to feel comfortable in my skin and who God has called me to be in Christ.
I also learned that not only will God change your appearance, but in time once you have proven your faith. You have surrendered all and truly trust in the Lord, then He will give you a NEW NAME. Just as He changed Abram's name to Abraham, Sarai's to Sarah, Jacob's to Israel and Simon's to Peter. Through those names God gave new beginnings, new hopes, new blessings. For some reason God has changed my name to Kat. Sis Kat more specifically. I’ve never went by Kat ever, but I’m realizing that it’s easy for children to pronounce and remember in Sunday school. As well as ppl in my church, in my business with youth, and in the school of ministry. It just works!
Praise God! I thank Him for changing my appearance and giving me a new name. Be encouraged ladies and God bless you through your transformation into a new creature.

My perspective to dressing godly is this: as long as my heart dresses to glorify God and am modest. So no skin showing. As a teenager I don’t put make up at the moment but I do wear jewelry and pants. I dress as I am convicted to do so. I just think some people are way too religious about the head covering. When the Bible says our hair is actually our head covering and that our long hair on women is glorious. So if any new Christian out there. Don’t be too extreme. Dress as you are convicted. Make sure you read the Bible and pray always.
Agree. U dont have to have Only skirt too be holy you can dress Modest with pants as Long you are Modest. It can become very religious mosaic law. When they have wrong revelations i dont say Only skirt and dress is wrong but its not a salvation issues or that u are less holy.. we need right revelations from HOLY spirit
@@Yeshua222love exactly. The verse they use in deut was actually referring to war garments. So woman can wear trousers. The Bible never says “ woman shall not wear trousers”, people just interpret scriptures wrong…

Always gotta have chapter and verse. None of these things are mentioned in the Bible as being sin. God’s Word is the only guidepost on how we should live. Man made rules do not make us righteous. Only the blood of Jesus can. Everybody has a word that they say God gave them, when in actuality, he’s already given us all the words we need for eternal life.

I want to say thank you for this video. I'm trying to become modest when I haven't been my whole life. Always wearing short shorts, little skirts, crop tops, sports bras and just very tight fitting clothes. Similar to you I go to the gym and I like to show off my results. This video made me realize that yes God made me beautiful the way I am. I don't have to flaunt it, I don't have to show it off, I can still be beautiful in modest clothes. I prayed about the same thing concerning my hair for God to allow me to find the best products for my hair. I cut my hair in a bob and now do twist outs, wash and goes, mini twist etc. I don’t struggle with itchy scalp anymore or acne as I did before. I’ve never felt more beautiful and get more compliments on my hair from my husband than ever.
This was a good video. People can also make modestly and idol too! I see the trend may be following more modest influences however, that is still following someone else. I agree with you in finding your individuality through God.
I have been saved for over 20 years and I wear makeup and braids and sometimes wigs. I am a professional and work around other mature adults. It's my preference for time management and to maintain a certain level of professionalism. I don't make my hair or wardrobe an idol, I think many young women do. So the Lord is just graciously showing them that they are enough without all the adornments. I have not made my outward appearance an idol and perhaps that is why Holy Spirit has not convicted me in this area. Good for them for being obedient to what they believe God has spoken to them. But you are right focusing on your looks whether modest or not can be an idol. Focus on God and your heart posture. Looking good and being good are two different things.

Your skin and hair look amazing, keep following the holy spirit. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, he took some things out of my life that weren't necessarily wrong, but it was because of my unhealthy attachment to those things to cover pain/fear/insecurities. He hasn't convicted me about makeup, jewelry or pants, but I personally don't care for makeup or extensions to begin with. A lot of it is very unhealthy for the skin and hair follicles, but if I could ever find natural makeup, then I might consider.
Being created in the image of God goes far far deeper than our physical bodies. It’s about His character.

You are so stunning I thought you were wearing makeup. I applaud you for your modesty and actually wearing something God wants us to wear and respect ourselves. This society is very toxic and sexualized. You see it in the media (Specially Netflix, Instagram and Tik tok) women see these shows and these celebrities and then become sexual images too to feel better about themselves. It seems that all of them are trying to top each other on who’s more attractive. It’s so sad and toxic. I recently became more modest too in the way I dress. I never had social media. The Holy Spirit told you to get rid of that account because it was feeding the sexualization. Thank you for your video and thank you for inspiring so many women out there.

God opened up my eyes to this through his scriptures and I started to share it through preaching and teaching. However, I got a lot of fight because of it.
Perfect love casts out fear. If we keep doing things because of fear or insecurities we can never attain perfect love in Christ. Insecurities are fear-based and it's a sickness that we need to heal from through the word of God.
To heal from it you need to grow in faith, hope and love by being obedient to the testimony of Jesus Christ. Study his teachings in detail. He will save you from your selfish desires that Satan is using to destroy you. He will give you rest from depression, loneliness, insecurities, fear, a need for validation and acceptance from man and the worst feelings a human can experience.

Some pple are talking about burning trousers, trousers deal with coldness some pple stay in cold places as well. I think it depends on how that trouser looks like. AND your intetion of wearing it.
Amén sis! So good! Another thing I love to do is pair shorter dresses with pants underneath! There was a denim dress I loved but it was a bit short, almost like a long shirt so I pair it with flowy white pants and it’s super cute (and covers my bottom half so it is still modest). This can help many women as well who maybe don’t always want to wear a dress or skirt- there’s lots of creative and stylish ways to honor God. Allow Holy Spirit to teach you all things! ❤️🙏
You should never let anyone rule you, I'm glad your not in a toxic relationship now and you are happier, you rule your own destiny and you have God with you. You are right, you are beautiful just the way God made you and you dont need vain things, if you ever use make up or do your hair different then it should be because you want to do that for yourself but you dont need all that, you are lovely just the way you are, you have the most gorgeous eyes, you are so pretty and you have such a lovely voice and you are so intelligent too and if anyone falls in love with you it should be for the beautiful woman who you are inside and out and not for the way you look or the way they want you to look or be. I know when the time is right, God will put the right man by your side and he will be a really lucky guy and you will be a lucky woman too because he will be the right one who loves you in truth and treats you like a real woman 🙂 ❤💛💚

I love makeup and style and I’m a chosen one, I have a relationship with God. This is a religious spirit. Jesus is freedom as long as you abide in His spirit and listen when He convicts.
this is what confuses me so much as a newbie in this walk. some ppl say we shouldn’t wear jewels/makeup/nail polish and others say what ur saying. im so over it. im tired of the different interpretations.
Your outward appearance should be modest (not revealing clothing and heavy makeup to distract others). Ask God to reveal His truth to you from His word. He cares more about your heart.

Blasphemy comes in many different forms and you do Not want to Blaspheme The Holy Spirit because that is The Unforgivable sin.
Keep in mind, Everyone's walk with The Lord is different.
God is telling her to let go of these things, she never once said "All women need to stop doing these things."
This is her testimony.. she's speaking on what The Holy Spirit told her or put on her heart.
I remember when I first started hearing The Lords voice audibly, He told me to stop wearing make up and stop using hairspray.
Again, everyone's walk with The Lord is different.

Here is my opinion.God deals with all of us differently.He can tell one to let go jeans,other make up etc coz for His divine reasons or if the individuals start to idolise these things causing others to stumble.But this shouldn't be a doctrine that every woman should do the same.
The word of God applies to us all... no one is exempt. So to say that some of the Scriptures is for some and not others; that's not biblical. The problem is that people sadly don't want to let go of their worldly ways.

@@GreaterisGreat Ecclesiasties talks about don't be extreme.In this case the wordly ways,based on the video is how we dress.My question is,does the bible specifically say trousers are for men and dresses for women!In those days what did those people wear?This is about modesty and pure intentions.If you wear indecently and cause others to stumble that's a sin.If you put make up and adorn yourself then that's a sin just to show off,if you can't live without make up that is a sin,cause that's idolatry.But applying make up isn't a sin.Do you know eating is not a sin but over eating is a sin?(gluttony)Does this mean we should stop eating!Nope!With moderation and true intent is okay.

God convicted me of makeup and the way i dress. havent worn makeup in 4 years in the 6 years i been walking with God. im also getting rid of my pants/leggings.

Great video! God has standards and sometimes people think he should accept anything they offer and he doesn’t. You are right I was raised in Holiness and only wear skirts and dresses and people always questioned it, but it is what God requires that matters. Also you have to have the Holy Ghost in order to be able to stand and go through the tests and trials that sometimes occur in life. But if we get God like we’re supposed to have him things would be a lot easier.

Thank you had a dream and it was about the same thing l was given an example of a women in a tight revelling yellow dress standing on a pulpit like she was doing a presentation or teaching l dont know to a congregation and an unknown voice of a man l didnt know who he was said to me Nyasha if you dress like this what will you be preaching to the world he said dont do it its not a proper way of dressing u can't preach to the world dressed like this.
Soon had forgotten about the dream and wanted to wear my tight skirt with a slit and was reminded again before wearing it about this same dream not to dress like that
To make it clear lm not a pastor or a teacher or preacher at my church but but l had to understand that l shld dress properly l mean modesty whether at church or not coz the word world z a big term to me and its not saying or mean at church only but to the world. Thank you

I have taken the makeup all the way down, and dressing modestly wasn’t hard for me. It’s the hair. I have alopecia so I’m in this weird ugly phase to myself. I wear hair wraps, half wigs. But I haven’t quite gained my confidence in this area yet.

There is nothing wrong with wearing makeup and jewelry. God wants us to be proud of ourselves, but our hearts should matter more. I thought wearing makeup was bad, even though I’m very modest with it, I thought it was terrible. But a lot of these stories are convictions to people who “overdo” it and looking for the attention. I’ve seen modest fake hair whether it be a wig or sew in. And these women are Godly, but they keep it modest. God is a piece of all of us, he knows we are women and want to look nice. But he just doesn’t want us to be out here wilding and doing it for the attention of men or anyone else. I just wanted to say that bc you don’t have to be totally bare, I’m bare a lot of days of my life like literally everyday, but I know God just wants modesty in everything we do and just don’t idolize all this stuff.

Holy spirit peaks to people in different ways.She is not judging anyone,but it's her walk with Christ.How God wanted her to be.So if you feel comfortable with make up and all that she is saying she stopped, that's still ok.

Amen, there is always talk about beauty treatments int the Bible. There is nothing wrong with wearing makeup and dressing up. It’s really just a preference.
