- The camera did not do this justice. This exhaust setup sounds incredible. 2x3 Inch Long Tube American Racing Headers with a cat-less x-pipe. I still had the NPP stock mufflers on and it keeps it tame when you're cruising but when you open the car up it sounds insane.

I'm interested in these for my 08 Z51 Corvette. What was the biggest install headache that you guys had?? I'm thinking my install might be a little easier since it's not a ZO6. Any tips before I get to busted knuckles and ordering online for my Christmas present? 😂👍
For sure have two people, and Jack the car up as HIGH as possible if you don’t have a lift. I did this a little while ago on my Z06. getting the cat pipe bolts out from the stock manifolds were difficult. Makes it easier to have a 1/2” impact with extensions and swivel sockets.

I have a 2010 ZR1 after headers And cat removal it just sounds too dam loud. Mind you my zr1 came with aftermarket cherry bomb bullet style mufflers. Do you think if I put the Z06 stock exhaust mufflers on my ZR1 it will tame the sound? I know many Modify the Z06 muffler by welding a pipe over the perforated inner muffler pipe. But I don’t want my car loud. If the sound of your corvette was with stock un modified exhaust I like it.

2 inch headers on bone stock ls7? I have these headers on my z06but also have b3 cam ai heads msd. Seems like you did more for sound than performance huh
I'd be scared to do that to my corvette. All I've done was put racing tires on them so it's already fast enough for me, even though it's a stingray.

So originally your supposed to install headers when the motor is out but then people started doing in while the motor was on the car. Way better to pay someone
