I lived in Bethanal Green for years. Its a superb cafe with a heart but its not worth queueing that long for and has been over exposed by the sensationalist columns of what to do in London magazines. Over hyped middle class trendy boner plonkers who would easily over pay and wait for their instagram moment. Its a great cafe and a lovely family. Try it this is all it is Buttered bread toasted Sausages, one or 2 fried eggs depending how much u can eat hash browns beans, black pudding (optional) and mushrooms if you want. Some people also add turkey bacon.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with a full English breakfast, don’t worry, we don’t eat this every day. More like on a Sunday morning, or if you stay at a hotel or something like that. I sometimes have it for my tea (my regional way of saying ‘evening meal’) as well

This is my local cafe and I agree it's a community 🎉. I started going since my son was in primary school. Nonna's pasta dishes are truly Italian!!! They are all wonderful people❤. Thankfully the queues are not always like this!!!! I now tend to ordered their lasagne trays as my family loves it!!!!!
A typical English breakfast here is 650-850 calories. If your averaging 1500-2000 calories this is a great kick start to your day. Add a wholegrain muffin and latte for morning tea. A salmon sushi or chicken salad sandwich for lunch. And you'll still have 650-850 calories for dinner😂❤ And in case your wondering it's not the calories it's the kind of calories that will kill you.

Well when you are from English towns London does seem very cold and unfriendly in general. Most people stick to themselves and ignore other people. In most English towns, people are much more of a community. People say hi or at least smile when passing each other on the street, speak to the person next to them on a train ride, or make the occasional friendly comment to a stranger. That doesn't happen much in London. Doesn't mean you won't get some very nice cafes/restaurants, but in general London is not as much of a community.

Never had something from them that I would want to complain about, always been lovely. 👌🏼

TBH there’s a better one opposite called Astro Cafe. I’ve tried both places and recommend Astro. Much more classy and the food is great!
