Rick Owens Ramones have a tall tiered midsole and shark-tooth outsole.
The shoe is inspired by the Converse Chuck Taylor, however Ramones differ in many key ways. Unlike Converse, the toe cap material is calf leather instead of rubber.
The shoe comes in both low top and high top versions and sports eyelet vents on the inner side.
Ramones Highs have an extended tongue, while the Lows have a traditional tongue level with the shoe’s profile.
Mainline Rick Owens Ramones have a calf skin leather upper, while the DRKSHDW Ramones, which are made in the same factory in Italy, are composed of more affordable upper materials such as canvas and nylon.
The High Ramones sport eight pairs of eyelets, the Low has six pairs.
The High has a zipper on the inner side of the shoe, the Low is lace-up only.
Through the years, Ramones have come in unique designs such as laceless slip-ons, padded thigh-high boots, leather “sock” boots that are half sneaker half leather pant, and one style is designed with a metallic finish and a huge geometric tongue that resembles a shinguard.

This version of Ramones really do look like Pro Wrestling boots due to the calf skin leather and the hard wear. As a Pro Wrestling fan, that is a plus and I agree that the white version of these boots are a bit too bright but I would like to see them once they are worn in or as they age.

Love these. I’ve got the low triple black. No break in needed, instantly comfortable - but they’re heavy though - not that it’s a problem for me. Runs true to size for me - I have wide feet but you need a shoehorn to wear easily since the tongue is stitched in and not a lot of room to wiggle in, and no side zippers like the high top. Great review!
I've got exactly the same shoes, size 42. They fit me perfectly and I'm normally size 43.
Very comfortable so far.

My Geobaskets from Larry FW19 had a removable insole the same as these so I assume they have started adding them to their mainline footwear. Great news.

Hey man , I’ve been wearing mainline ramones low pretty hard for a year. The rubber at the back and the leather have just started to separate... Other then that the shoe is great. The sole wears quicker then I’d hoped too. I’ve heard the darkshadows don’t have either problem.. now I’m kinda wishing I had got the ds ramones too haha . My advise is don’t run in them , that’s what messed them up haha

Love your videos man! Not a lot of info out there in RO. Noticed that you said these run small! Can I get the same size of this (or the 2020 white chalk colorway) as my Drkshdw Ramones? My Drkshdws in a size 41 fit for me perfect.
Sizing seems to be all over the place. Normally wear a 42.5 IT. Ill Go with a 42 and if they're too small Ill Return them or if there too Big Ill put an insole in

I'm getting mine next week. I still sized down because my feet are very narrow. Hopefully it fits.. fingers crossed! :O I really like the all black ones because they dont look like converse or clown shoes lol
After sizing down, how did they need up fitting? Do you wish you went true to size?
@@DIMESBURNER They fit me but only because I lace them tight as hell. They just feel really wide yet the length is perfect. I wouldn't recommend ramones for anyone with skinny feet

don't like the toe cap on the ss20 ramones. it's to flat. the older ramones had bigger toe caps and were way more curvy
