I definitely prefer mainline over Drkshdw for pure comfort. Leather feels way more comfortable and moulds to your foot over time. The only time I would go for Drkshdw over mainline is if they had an interesting sole or something I couldn't get in mainline (abstract, double bumper, etc..) Because I walk a lot and have sensitive feet, comfort always wins for me :)
Love having both drkshdw and mainline pairs but would have to agree with you, its worth the price difference. Not sure if its because my drkshdw pair is older and mainline pair is a newer season but they feel so much more comfortable.

I totally agree that the mainline ramones are way better but dont buy them at retail. I mean they cost more than 1k I think and for that money you could get geobaskets or even cargobaskets or some tractor boots which are all way better options in my opinion

This was years ago at the Bijenkorf in the Netherlands, it's a multibrand store which carried Rick Owens every now and then. Due to them always going on the heavy sides of the sale, I guess they decided it wasn't worth it to carry the brand.

my drkshdw soles are way squishier and have held up better than my mainline soles. but maybe it's because my drkshdw's are double bumpers?
