This lil sporty one only tops out at 85mph?? Im surprised and I also realized our old Plymouth Reliant wagon also topped off at 85 max. That was our ride when me Ray and Sharon were really young kids.
The speedometer goes to 85 because the US Government required all speedometers to top out at 85. There are Lingenfelter supercharged Corvettes that have 85mph speedometers.
@@guygaric940Sounds like you need a tune up. Your ignition timing might be off or you might be low on compression. My 90 hatch will happily maintain 85 and I've had it to 93, and my 91 convertible has been up as high as 87.
