Hey guys, in this video we will show you how to fix common oil leak on BMW e46. BMW e46 has a weak spot and it starts leaking oil from the valve cover gasket. It is important to get a gasket with all the bushings and spark plug holes gaskets as well. The link will be bellow. We demonstrated how to replace the valve cover gasket on a 2005 BMW 330ci. A torque wrench is only suppose to go until it clicks NOT click and then some more. Your over tightening the bolts which will result in stretching the bolts. Most of your bolts in this video are torqued to different torques because of this.

thanks man, mystery solved. Had mine replaced march last year, 7k miles ago, and it started to leak around the vanos/timing chain. I guess the dude didnt apply the dab of gasket maker as you recommended.
