I have an old hand written diary from 1925 from this young fella who writes about his travels in europe. And even back then, it seems like he preferred the right side. He'd write on the right side, and often draw these beautiful drawings on the left side, or glue photographs on. Also, he was a nobleman with quite a bit of money, which makes it even more based. Very fascinating book btw. Original, and only one in existence too.
As a left handed child in a right handed family (except my dad) I can say the left side it was better than the right side, and that I would rest my head on the right side 😂
NO FRICKIN WAY YOU CAN TEACH ME PLEASE I STRUGGLE IN SCHOOL WITH THE SPIRAL THINGS ON THE RIGHT SIDE I HAVE TO TURN IM STUPID BOOK UPSIDE DOWN TO USE THE RIGHT SIDE :(
I write on the right side, then flip it upside down so the left side becomes the right side. It also allows me to combine two note books, like I do my science notes on one side and my math notes on the other so I both save space in my bag, but also don't waste resources since I never actually fill those notebooks. Also, if I'm in math and writing notes, the science is the one that's upside down so I don't mess with it or get distracted. I do the same with my sketchbooks. Another thing: I tend to actually like spiral more as well because they lie flat and you can easily fold them so there's only one side at a time showing. This is just what I do personally. Sorry if it's explained poorly, I'm not the best at explain. I'd love to hear what other people do :)
Omfg that's actually so smart bruhhh-😭 I'm yoinking that idea rn lmao thanks to you I'll probably start doin' that and not waste the left side of my notebook shskhsjdh 🤧🩷
what you gotta do is only right on one side for the whole notebook, and when you get to the back, flip the whole thing over. you'll be writing on the other sides but it'll feel like the one you like.
I just thought up a cure for this. For the left page, flip the book around to where it looks and feels like the right page, and then flip it back around for the right page. And when you’re reading it, just flip the book back and forth in a spiral like motion for every page.

My friend writes only on the right side but still covers every page. He does this by turning the notebook upsidedown on each “left side” and then it becomes the right side
I am right handed and HATE the right side. When you have a book with a notebook, you can put the book over your notebook, taking 3 A4 pages of space. If you're writing on the right side, you can't cover that up making the surface ⅓ larger. And what the hell do you mean that's the left page is all floppy, you can just...bend it... or hold it with your second hand.
That’s why I turn my book the other way so I’ll be writing at an angle without having to bump into those edges. Kinda weird that I’m the only one who does this and I’m facing away from the board to write
