THANK YOU for reacting to Stray Kıds really enjoyed it! Yes, 神 is an intentional word play between 'New' and 'God'. And I can see why would see similarities to BTS Dope but the concept is actually completely different. Stray Kıds are basically dissing their haters that say their music is 'construction music' because they actually are self-producing idols their producing unit 3racha are the three fastest producing idols in years active! They highlight their uniqueness because they experiment with their music and do something different than the rest which is why they compare it to cooking and the construction or the lab part and I think the racing track symbolizes that they go at their own pace and no matter what other say no one can reach them and that they'll come in first at some point. I highly recommend you to react to 'Easy' you will love it and also their new track 'Any' once it comes out this Sunday or the week after that because they release MVs to almost every b-side track.

I’m glad you are going back and reacting to this. You should do that for a lot of videos, as long as you haven’t seen them. There have been some epic videos/performances that deserve to be watched and reacted to. If you limit yourself to only brand new stuff it really might denigrate your view of an artist, as you haven’t seen where they have come from until now. Don’t miss out on great videos, by all means do brand new ones, but go back to popular ones people suggest so the new ones will have background and context.
That being said, let me over share. These are artists I find essential in Kpop (my favorites obviously), and the songs I included span a range from earlier to latest.
StrayKids - put together by the leader and not the company they are under, which is the case 99.99% of the time. Skz is the only group I know to have assembled themselves. Were originally 9 members but became 8 October 2019. The rap line and cornerstone of the group is 3RACHA, who is also the production line. They are a self written and self produced group. All 9 members are very talented singers, rappers and dancers. Chan (the leader) made his group up of triple threats. Fandom is called STAYs. They were on a reality show where their group was against a female group to see who could debut. They won. Many of the female members went on and debuted as the group Itzy later. Chan trained from the age of 12, when he left his home in Australia and trained for 8 years at JYPE before he was finally given the chance to debut. He has many friends in other groups from his time training.

NCT- currently 21 members in all units, of which there are 4. NCT U is a rotational unit where the members change from song to song. There can be two members, there can be eight, it just depends on what they decide for the song. NCT 127 is a fixed unit consisting of the older 9 members of NCT. NCT Dream is mostly fixed and is the youngest 7 members, however from comeback to comeback a member may not be promoting with the group, which is why I said “mostly” fixed. Prior to 2020, members would graduate at the age of 20 and join 127 instead of Dream. This isn’t happening now. Two members, Mark and Haechan, are in both NCT Dream and NCT 127. WayV is the Chinese subunit/adjacent unit to NCT, consisting of 7 members, two of which were with 127 in the beginning. Out of all 21 members, 4 of them make up SuperM, SM entertainment’s kpop avengers.

Their 2019 concerts in Korea brought in nearly as much revenue for the country as the 2018 Pyongyang Winter Olympics. They break records and set unprecedented records, being the only group since the Beatles to have 3 #1 albums in a year, the only group to win all 4 Daesangs (grand prize awards) in a single night at the 2018 MAMA awards, being the first Korean artist to perform/win at Billboard (and get a #1 song its debut week)...etc. Just know there is a reason they are on top and it has nothing to do with a big label and lots of connections and everything to do with their hard work and humility.
