People would be shocked how fast these bikes are. The Bagger pole time at Daytona this spring would have put it on the front row of the Daytona 200 against bikes like the Ducati 888 and RC30 from three decades ago. The early 90's superbikes also weighed about 140 kg less!
Racing on big bikes that weren't build for this. No electronics, just the rider wrestling a 2 liter/150HP engine and 280kg around a track in close combat. Absolutely love it.
So, next year....an Ape Hanger Class??? ...must be unshaven, donning a German helmet and a lit cigar.....with Motley Crue blairing from the woofers in the bags,,,,😂
In a real competition among other manufacturers’ ‘baggers’, Harley wouldn’t be any competition without handicapping the other bikes, like they did in the sixties.

very good, the truth is, the first one I see, very complicated.... so heavy, the only way to win in braking is to put it on its side, skid and with such machines..... very difficult.... good move by the Australian, you have to be very brave to cross the motorcycle like that..... CONGRATULATIONS....
@@raynic1173 There's a difference between just changing the shocks and completely altering the steering geometry and ground clearance. Those things have CNC machined alloy swingarms and all sorts of mods. They are also 200 pound lighter than stock !
Ill be honest when heard that there was a class of motorcycle racing for baggers i was scratching my head because there normally used for touring and quiet frankley its pretty bizarre they ride em like sport bikes. And speaking of sport bikes, how is it a type of racing hasnt been developed for bikes like the sport ster even though it's not actually a sport bike?

Except for one or two high end bikes, they all change out the stock suspension for racing...
