- Woke up early to beat the snow and will be in town tomorrow. A lovely day hiking with a nice view at the saddle. I fell quite a bit today. I was determined to keep going. It was a lovely hike with a steep part where the hiker in front of me fell. I made it safe and kept on keep on! Happy trails
Mile 1054.4-174.4 (20 miles total)

Hey, don’t diss us weekend or section hikers, this is our home and we go out and enjoy. We feel blessed that we are so close to have this area available to us . Love your videos,
That snowy part was sketchy!!!!! Amazing how a good night's sleep will set you up for success, regardless of what you're doing. Glad you had a great day, thank you for posting!
Awesome Boujee thanks for continuing to take us with you
I think you have “Trail Angels” keeping you on the trail, unlike that other guy
What a pretty day with great views.
It's beautiful up in there. Watch your back. Stay safe.
I can't believe they said Missouri is on the east coast. What? Safe travels! BTW, I think Missouri is beautiful.
Lol with most of us having smart phones, I would have just looked for it on the map before saying anything
LETS GO!
To be honest, I often think of Missouri as East Coast in terms of a certain New Yorker magazine cover, probably a habit built by living 50 miles from the Pacific Ocean most of my life. But a 13 hours drive? Ha! That's just a long-weekend drive from Portland to San Francisco 😂 Done that on many holiday weekends. I hope you wear your microspikes and use your ace on those steep snowfield crossings; it may take a couple of extra minutes, but it saves the time wasted crossing slowly (which has longer danger exposure) and having to extricate carefully like the hiker in your video, not to mention a full scale SAR action.
Literally! Yes definitely use the equipment you have saves time!
I can see how Missouri can be slightly a part of East coast for terrain
The plant is Arrowleaf Balsamroot
Wooly Mules Ears I believe?
That’s what someone said!
Dear Boujee. Please wear your mini spikes and carry your ice ax when your crossing the very steep at times slippery snow ice. The ice ax is the breaking mechanism to stop you from sliding into the rocks!
Those trails have steep drop offs!
